The only way to start a Guadalajara street food tour is with menudo tripe soup. This breakfast tripe soup is a popular street food in Guadalajara. Spicy, tasty, flavourful, this menudo tripe soup definitely woke us up.
We continued our Mexican food tour tasting the best Mexican street food in Guadalajara, stopping for some tortas ahogadas. Tortas ahogadas are a must try street food in Guadalajara, and are one of the most popular foods in Guadalajara. Drowned sandwich, anyone? This could possibly be the best Mexican Torta that we've tasted yet. Next, we tried jericalla, the most popular dessert in Guadalajara, before heading to one of our last stops tasting the famous Jalisco goat birria. Goat birria is one of the best Mexican street foods in Guadalajara. Full of tender, juicy goat meat, goat birria and birra tacos are a super tasty dish we couldn’t miss.

Wow, what an assortment of food! Everything looked so rich in Guadalajara. The tripe soup was so packed, I don't like tripe myself, but I would definitely give it a try after watching Chris eat it. It actually looked really good! That wet sandwich and the birria, so meaty! Everything looked so good! Awesome video again, can't wait to see more from Guadalajara.

the menudo looks delish.. ive never had torta and theres so many mexican restaurants here in the Bay Area , I havent thought of trying it.... food looks sooo good making me hungry you guys im devouring my costco chicken.. lol thanks for sharing

Somehow the tripe combo and goat dish reminds me of my grandma's cooking (i.e. something I still lack kitchen experience to properly replicate 😅)
It is really interesting for me to get to know menudo and adobo from México. PH have similarly named dishes, but I guess the familiarity stops at the names, and to the color to some extent (maybe from the anatto or chiles or paprika).
Torta Ahogada looks divine 😊, and I bet tastes just as fine as it looks.
The drinks also look so tasty and especially refreshing on a toasty afternoon.

Realmente el peor menudo que eh probado es en Guadalajara. En varias partes lo probe y no esta bueno. Para menudo bueno michoacan, Guanajuato,el df , Oaxaca y puebla.
