Thanks a bunch for taking the time to help the rest of us.I wish I would have watched this video before building my 2021 model. Same set up. I have broken the lower driver side ball joint twice without any abuse. Medium 4X4 driving on dry ground. Nothing that you would expect to break something. I have the heavy duty ball joints from Suiper ATV. They break at the begining of the threaded end just below the taper. It is the smallest diameter of the stem. The 2017 style look like they would solve the problem.

First, I agree big tires “may” have their place.

Yes 3" but I did not use the spring spacers that came with the kit.

@@Hunterworks I guessing by the stance you have those spacers were supposed to go on the front springs

@@DudeManBroShow it’s been two years but I think had enough for all four shocks. But if I had two they were for back.

Alot of people don't know it when u do the portal lift they space u out 2.5 inches per side which causes ur springs to sag even more in reality u end up with about 2.5 lift so u should turn ur preload up on ur shocks

I’m sry but nothing your say makes sense. The arms stay in the same location so your springs maintain the same angle and the springs don’t sag. The only way they’d sag is if you increased the weight up top not down low.

@@DudeManBroShow dude it's just like adding wheel spacers the wider u go the more squat u get it makes perfect sense IV done both if u have independent rear suspension widening the rear causes more squat and stress on springs even wheel bearings I know exactly what I'm talking about did it and watched others if u look at a machine before adding the portals the angles are higher due to center of gravity being more under when u throw those portals widens it out and the center is dropped and after the suspension settles ur angles will be less I mean yea u get more lift with less stress but turning the shocks up a bit will give u the true 4 inches but stock suspension is set up for stock with. Throwing offset wheels will do the same I have measured just shy of 3/4 of an inch just from 1/6 stock wheels to 3/4 offset aftermarket
