Not gonna lie, I bloody love the Mary Chain. But this is one of my favourite songs by anyone, one of coolest most beautiful things ever written.

JAMC! Certified fresh. The Psychocandy album was such a stir. Darklands was a goth masterpiece.

Great reaction! I got introduced to JAMC by hearing Happy When it Rains on a college radio station. It was raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock outside at the time. Immediately bought Darklands and loved every song. Saw them on the roller-coaster tour with Curve..

Psychocandy is and will always be in my top albums ever. They really were rockabilly mixed with shoegaze and badassness. And they were so influencial. Sad it didnt hit. Their earlier stuff was very distorted, oh well.

Psychocandy is definitely the most interesting album of theirs. Also probably had the most impact on the shoegaze bands too.

@@matthewstroud4294 Yes! That album was, at the time, really ground breaking. They mellowed so much after, but still produced some great pop. I kinda dropped off on the later albums. Reminds me of Echo a tad. Not sound just the pop takeover. Anyway. Rambling. Cheers.

I'm not sure who the younger guy is or maybe I don't give a fuck, but the fool was rockin to the song and then says he's not a fan. If you don't like J&MC, then don't listen Barney!!

Possibly the best band to come out of Scotland along with the Shamen!

I liked them back then still do but one of my favorite songs by them is Why'd you want me! Then it was in the film California man too! Hope you react to that sometime!

Give the kid some TikTok low energy mumblecore. He’ll be fine. Gimme that good stuff like JAMC.

I prefer Happy When It Rains, also a single from the same album, has more lift to it especially the vocals.

they created alot of waves for having a controversial record cover that had Jesus on it ( for the zoomers people used to buy music in places called record stores on these large plastic round discs & they came in a cardboard sleeve with a picture on the front ! ). Also they had strong druggy overtones that made them edgy.

Not my favourite. A bit bland. Try: The Chameleons - Don't Fall. 1983 and about 10 years too early.

Nobody sounded like them, record after record they blew me away with their sound, I think you Americans like harmonies and not proper rock, stick to the beach boys lads
