this is very beautiful, Rojbin and Bertan really outdone themselves in episode 36. I think we all agree that Alaz needs therapy yesterday but about his redemption arc reversal am I the only one who think that's actually realistic ? that's what he has done the whole season : one step forward, two steps back. precisely because he's not seeking professional help, and he's gonna be stuck into this vicious circle until he does. but I know this is a tv show and if they want to go the "love heals" road, they will. about Asi backstory you're right, she's a fan favorite, she deserves that her character be even more deepened; I personally would love for her to search for her parents. also I have to say, I hate pregnancy trope when used as a plot device, especially when its the fourth time the writers have done it (they sure need a vacation...) and even more when it's babies having a baby, I guess I'll have to accept it. sorry for rambling in your comments section lol
I totally agree. I really like how realistic it is. Anyone would be afraid of that level of commitment after having a father like that and right after losing a sibling to suicide especially as young as they are. It would shake anyone. His whole life he put his father on a pedestal thinking every decision he made was right only to realize that almost everything his father taught him about family was actually very wrong. Asi understands that about him too but Alaz always expresses himself in the worst way possible in an attempt to push her away out of fear. His pushing her away constantly is actually his greatest act of love. Because he knows he isn't good enough as he is and she deserves better and above all else he wants her to be happy even if that's without him. Yet he is completely in love with her and is conflicted about letting her go. And in not wanting to hurt her in the long run he keeps hurting her even worse in the short run. He has no faith in himself that he can grow to become better than his father even though he's already proven that several times over. He thinks blood is thicker than water so his blood will always be dirty because of his Dad but what he doesn't realize is Asi spent her whole life in a world where water was thicker than blood so she doesn't think the blood he comes from matters and he can choose his own family. It's really a beautiful story between them. I wish they would let them heal one another. Alaz has an endless capacity to love just waiting to pour out of him if only he would let go of his fears.
