Sorry it took me awhile. Work got in the way, game dev stuff happened, and a lot of other inconveniences. Not to mention this song has so many tempo changes, so it took a bit to get right. I would also like to mention that a few samples were added in post. Theoretically, it can be done on the hardware (Toy Story is a great example) but it's not the same without the samples. Either way, thanks for being patient!
Next up will be either World Wide Noise or an original song.

Where'd you get all the accurate samples? Like the re-recorded "Hello there" from the final game. Is there some PT sample resource that you got them from?

The samples were played through deflemask, which lowers the sample quality automatically. Clearly though, it doesn't crush them enough :(
crushing is only there because of DAC v CPU interrupts
if you wanna hear actual crushing run the VGM with game code at the same time
Honestly a lot closer to the original, good work! My only criticism is the voice samples from the original distasteful anchovi should be more bitcrushed, unless you're somehow going for a "they're playing on a Sega CD" vibe?
