- Calvin Watkins over at the Dallas Morning News posted an article responding to the Mike McCarthy 'Fed Up' Cowboys report saying McCarthy is not quite fed up, but his relationship with execs is 'not perfect.' Watkins joins Shan & RJ to explain all of this and what McCarthy is actually fed up with in the video above.

If a RB holds out, then he’d be looking for work, if I was in charge. And if they had waited till his 5th year to extend him, they’d never have given him ANY money, let alone make him the highest paid.
And ever since Stephen took over Player/Personnel, our style of doing business has changed drastically. When Jerry was in charge of Player/Personnel, he spent big money a few times on players like Deion. But now, they wait, wait, wait. I DEFINITELY think Stephen’s in charge of contracts and that’s why everything has changed.
😏 The Cowboys' relative success will still depend quite a bit on the dysfunction of the Giants and Redskins and the ups and downs of the Eagles.

If your picking in the 1st rd and a top 10 tackle out of the class is on the board when you pick you gotta take him.

They didn’t lose anyone great. And there was really nobody worth the money in FA. At the end of the day, we are ALL IN on Dak to get us over the hump. We have weapons. Top 5 WR, top 10 TE, top 10 O-line. Top defense in turnovers. Just need to tighten up run defense and run block better. I believe w Zimmer on defense, and getting rid of our center, we’ll be better at both.
I think Zeke was brought in for his pass-blocking because Dallas has a few rookiez on the OLine who's strengths are run blocking, not pass blocking

I love how these guys think Jerry is worried about not having Dak and going back to the 2000 to 2004 years of not having a QB. They forget Jerry kept trading his first round picks those years. I think Jerry knows now he needs to start spending some draft capital on the QB position.

@@stargazersports7831 That has has nothing to do with future draft picks. Maybe they will work out and maybe not either way Dak isn't going to play forever so you will have to take a QB at some point. You might as well do that now rather than 5 years down line. We have alot of young talent and if you start rebuilding now the less likely you will have a few losing seasons in a row before you're back on top again which is what Jerry is worried about.
So true… Jerry wanted Manzel over Zach Martin. If it wasn’t for the Broncos we would have Paxton Lynch. Didn’t they target Stephen McGee with the #1 pick of Day 2 of the draft?…
In addition, he traded up to get Quincy and spent rookie cap money to sign Chad Hutchinson. Let’s not forget bringing in Ryan Leaf and trading for Drew Henson….

This fan base is the worst. 3 straight 12 win seasons an they wanna fire everyone. Let this franchise go thru wat others do an those same fans would be crying for dak or mike.
What they don’t understand is that the team has won the same amount of games for 3 consecutive seasons, 3 different times.
Meaning, 3 different occasions, the Jones back to back off-seasons did nothing to improve the teams record.
You can’t do that if you tried…. The Jerrys have done it 3 times in the last 24 seasons.
