Bro, is it safe for the cooler's 4-pin connector wire to touch the screw bracket? The screw bracket has 4 heat pipes attached to it, so it will get hot. Won't the wire be damaged by that heat?
Hi Provoked Prawn, have you tried to mount this cpu cooler on the Asus ROG Strix Z-790 you have reviewed before. I am consedering mounting this cooler on the Z690 version of it. I saw a lot of people telling online that not all coolers work on this motherboard, because of the big vrm. Is there maybe a chance you can try it out and make a video about it or maybe post a picture of it?
I see 2 things I don't like 1st of all the plastic standoffs 2nd of all. Is it one of those deals or the clamp arm thing that you have to undo? Is that bracket going to be in the way where I can't release the c p u without taking that bracket apart?
Hi, my DeepCool RF 120 VT fan has only one cable that connects to the CPU fan header on the MB, hence I can't synch it. Can I connect it to the four-pin RGB of the motherboard if I buy a splitter? does it have to be a particular splitter (are the four-pin connectors to the fan header and to the RGB header different?) Can I use a splitter that has a 5v 3-pin connector and daisy chain it to the other fans so as to pick up the signal and synch it? Thanks
I was wondering. I have a biostar motherboard and my mobo doesn't have that rgb 12 volt header connection. I was wondering where else i can plug it or do some stuff to convert it to molex
I got this cooler and started installing the brackets but I had to stop. The upper metal bracket was literally making contact with and sitting on the capacitors on the sides of the socket, and I didn't trust that. Looking at your install, it is doing the same thing. I hope that didn't cause any issues with yours, but I think I'm going to return mine as I don't want to break them.
My board only has the 4 pin rgb connectors and then a port with 3 pins like this but it's called add gen 2? Is that the port I need to use lol first pc I've had 😅 its a asus tuf b550 plus wifi ii
Does anyone make the cpu fan that has JST 3 pin rgb. My *4 case fans, and ARGB strip all use JST* and looking for a cpu cooler that also has the same connector to sync the RGB 😭
Damn you should have tried running that cable in-between the mother board and case. I know it’s not a lot of space but I doubt the cable would be enough to Bend the mother board

I have this cooler with my 12600K and am amazed at how well it keeps my CPU cool. At idle, it's at 31°C, and at 100% load, it maxes out at 68°C. I'm glad I went for this bang-for-buck cooler and got it for $20, avoiding an expensive AIO. I also wish that this didn't have RGB. I think it should be fine for the 12700KF, but if I were to overclock, I would consider upgrading.
i got the same combo it is good for mw2 high settings 1080p - 120-110 fps, Valorant is capped to 240fps all the time with competitive settings but i noticed that my processor is running too hot 85° on MW2 (intel stock cooler) mb gonna try AG400 or AK400
Idle is completely silent. Under load, it depends on how you set the fan curve. If you have a 65 W CPU, you can keep the fan speed less than 800 rpm and it is basically silent. At max speed, it is kind of loud but, not as loud as stock coolers. I have a video on my channel where I install the AG400 black version and I recorded the fan noise.
I wish you would just give us the actual benchmark results. I am scrolling back and forth in the end of the video and all I see is you talking about different hardware instead of a picture with the benchmark results.

Your "Hello" got me thinking that I was listening to Gareth Mitchell BBC presenter for now defunct digital planet podcast 😅
I've a cheap motherboard with only 4 pin cpu header not the RGB headers.
Can I use it on without RGB connection?
Thank you this helped me a ton.

used this cooler for a build for someone else, its really quiet, i recommend it
its sounds really good then i will probably get it.
Great video ! Thanks . I have one question - does the ARGB connection cable have a splitter ?
Yes it does - so you can connect it to other DeepCool RGB Fans I assume.

I'm using ARGB hub but it has 6 pin and 4 pin for led strips, is there a 4 pin to 3 pin converter?
My motherboard doesn't support ARGB sync.

Better than Vetroo V5?
Can you mount a second fan with this cooler?
You can but you need another pair of clips.

i cant change my rgb in my mother board softwer pls help
What does the male part connected to the RGB cable do?
If you only have one spot for rbg in you mb, you can use it for other rgb cable.
Goes good. How do I disable rgb
Unplug the led cable
That’s one big bracket to secure the cooler…
Thx 😊
there is no screw to the case from the cooler, i think in the long time the MOBO become crack
