Thank you, all I had to do was unplug it for 1 minute and it started working. I appreciate your video.
Finally got it to work by putting the printer closer to the router.
It is clear that the wifi range on a brother is very short. I have my new brother right next to the wireless router. Right next to it. It still can’t find the SSID. That is a very very bad sign. I’m sending it back immediately
you got a bad unit...mine is sitting in halls while my router is in my bedroom
After successful initial setup, my Brother printer does not automatically reconnect to my home wifi after being turned off or going to sleep. How do I get the printer to auto-connect when being powered on from sleep mode or after being shut off?
Give it a static IP address from your router settings, this should fix it. Seems like only brother printers have that problem.
nice try, but nope. "wifi setup? y/n? choose Y. "Connect to WLAN" does that for 5mins. "Timed Out" . now what?
I changed my motherboard and reinstalled my windows and now it takes forever for the print to start
when I got the printer it was working great over wifi and printing immediatelly....now when I press print the printer will make some initialization sound but then takes forever to receive the data....like 10 mins to receive a simple one page text file (64kB) and the printer just shows "Receiving Data" all the time
nothing has changed on my LAN, I have the printer set for static IP in DHCP and the printer is literally next to the router
Why doesnt Brother make this easier?
Useless tips
What is a rooter? Or did you mean router?
