Damn I admire this dude. The amount of perseverance and strength it must have taken to continue pursuing and doing what he loves after such a debilitating accident must have been tremendous. It's awe-inspiring to see somebody so passionate and determined. He clearly never gave up and lives his life to the fullest. Mad props and respect from one car guy to another. Keep doing your thing man.

Watched this video a while ago and I just saw Rob on the Fastest Car docuseries on Netflix rocking the Hoonigan fitted and Unprofessionals T. I’m happy as hell for him. The docuseries is about his homie but it’s awesome he’s getting some love 🤟🏿 most people watching don’t even know what Rob can do 🔥🔥
That clutch setup is one of the most awesome engineering features I have ever seen. Anywhere.

Chairslayer you’re doing amazing things, I had a similar accident in 2017 and have only just gotten back to driving, had to sell my turbo at the time but so keen to build something again - might be time I get another S15 😁 keen as to learn more about the clutch/gearbox setup particularly if you’re gonna start producing them, its way beyond my technical skills. Keep killing it ✌️

@@ClimptonDiddlehopper the 13b has been more reliable than his turbo ls though. He's also gone through a t56 along with the turbo ii trans. The diff mount was break just bc the chassis was/is clapped out.

I’ve seen robs car 10000 times and it never gets old watching him talk about his masterpiece/ art work and watch him slay tires. It’s awesome how he took an extreme negative and turned it into a positive. He also helps other people paralyzed like him get into racing / drifting. Fucking badass dude!

I've had to face the fact lately that I will probably roll out of the hospital I'm in. I make my living driving and I just love to drive for fun. After seeing this video I'll be looking for a manual transmission rather than the auto I was looking at. Rob you are an inspiration. Much respect from Australia 🇦🇺 mate. this dude inspired me after breaking my neck to build my own hand adapted modified cars, and i don't think i would have coped with the injury without seeing his build, inspiration to all this man is.

@@HooniganDailyTransmission thanks for your reply!, i stumbled across rob's car whilst i was still hospitalised and messaged him via facebook, i have since used the radial style design in both my cars due to his videos and they have worked perfectly, i am a quadriplegic unlike rob which leaves me with little hand function. when i injured myself 4 years ago i was unable to feed myself, dress etc. 4 years on i live independently alone and am currently building a European market bmw e46 touring with a 330d engine m57 engine code with is a 3.0 straight six single turbo diesel which is unfortunately very unreliable! the car is disability adapted via a electronical radial hand control system with the ability to switch back to pedal use via a switch, the second car i have been building is a mechanically controlled radial hand system on a mk4 jetta tdi pd130 engine with a mk4 golf r32 front-end swap. since being wheelchair bound rob inspired me to learn how to weld regardless of my position no matter how dodgy my welds may be. i have also learnt how to obd tune vehicles from my driveway via a kiss v2 flasher and use of winols and vag edc suite, but long story short rob inspired me to do all this and i would be really interested in robs clutch system to attempt to build a competition car in future and get into drifting as my current cars aren't very suitable with their weak auto boxes!

The chairslayer killed it. Rob I been in a wheelchair for a good amount of time, i was hit and ran over by a car, i can walk but pay the price (pain) every single day of my life, and still have to modify everything I do in life to do normal everyday things.
