Jelly did the same to me I remember back before he went country and I remember to this day the exact moment I the first time hearing him I was in active addiction during Xmas after i learned to walk again and I left the house to go do it and played his music and struggles. It resonated so much I took three hits and then threw the rest down toilet. It's still a struggle in my life but I still rock out to my man jelly! ❤

I'm so happy for you. My ex-husband started drinking at age 9 & shooting heroin at age 13, so your comment hit home. We lost him to an overdose around 15 years ago. He was 60. By that time his brain was so damaged that he was unable to write down a telephone number, no matter how slowly you gave it to him. He was a good man with a bad habit. He was a good father too, even though his was not.
I'm so happy your kids won't have to go through what mine did. You keep trusting God and RUN from all temptation. Those were the secrets of my success. This June I will have 27 years clean from crack.
You can do this. Every year it gets easier. But I give God the credit. He was always my strength.
I'm relapsing right now. I'm sitting in my driveway hard sobbing. Almost can't breathe at times. I'm so tired of this cycle. I just had 3 months without drinking. I hate myself so much rn and this songs on repeat. I just keep reminding myself that I won't struggle forever. Right?

My dad was 15 almost 16 years clean and sober before he passed in 2021 from heart attack/heart stroke. He changed his life around. He was my biggest supporter. And I will forever be so proud of him. He was a simple man, the light in my world.

I may not be a Christian, or a country boy, but this song is still slaps
I suffer from a very painful genetic disorder. Every Tuesday I travel an hour away from home to get over 30 nerve block injections from the top of my head, down my neck and throughout my spine to help me cope. I listen to Jelly Roll my whole way there and back. His music helps me cope. I am Canadian and I drove over 3hrs there and another 3hrs home to see Jelly Roll live at Darian Lake this past Thursday and it was worth everything it took out of me! Best concert I have ever seen and Jelly Roll is the only famous person I would love to sit down and talk to.

This song is my life in lyrics I was not always a good person and it is a struggle every day to stay on the path after I got out of the army I was diagnosed with PTSD. I struggled with drugs and alcohol to this day I still do. Music like this is an inspiration to stay on the path. My wife and i were dependent on opiods for 20+. The last 15 was on methadone. We are almost 2 months out of the addiction for the first time. We both went cold turkey and won! PURE HELL but Jelly Rolls music was played daily and helped us so much. Jelly roll does create healing music. Gonna be seeing him live in sept!!!.
