    Superb work on the viaduct Huw, the tone of the brickwork looks spot on. Nice job on those down pipes too, thanks for the shout out, really appreciate it. Paul

      No Problem Paul, your video saved me a lot of time and money to re-create those downpipes

      Thanks for the compliments, the original colour i used where i painted individual stones was time consuming and wasn't achieving the overall effects, I'm glad i started again and finished with this as the result :)

      All the credit for the downpipes goes to galgorm hall, but I'm very pleased with the end result.

  • @JAMESDEMU-RailwayModeller

    I went down the route of painting individual bricks on my shed.
    I know what you mean about mind numbing.
    Wish I'd done it the way you have now.
    Would have saved a lot of time and preserved my sanity.

    Great video, used this method to weather my viaduct in N and looks quite convincing. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the sub.

    Looks great ! I'm planning my layout with the Metcalfe Viaduct kit in mind, but I'm tempted by this kit, really good effects you've created with it too !

    • @alnahudycentral3254
      @alnahudycentral3254  Před 4 lety

      Its a great versatile kit, the metcalfe kit is great too, but there isn't much relief or texture in the card kits that you get with plastic. Glad you like

    Very impressive. I think phosphorescence is the word you’re looking for.

      Thanks, I'm so pleased that I abandoned my original painting each stone randomly to have this effect, I'm very pleased.

    Looks great Huw! From the first coat (that I was convinced was too light - how wrong was I?!) to the final result is incredible! Amazing work - both bridges look wonderful!

    Thanks for subscribing to my channel, out of curiosity, how did you find me? How is your railroad coming along? Any updates planned? I liked this video, seeing your process of working with the various aspects of the Viaduct.

      Paul, I'm sure you can do the kits up abit, shrubbage is a great way to disguise joins etc,
