Studio Series Megatron COULD still have his G1-accurate gun mode. . . They would just have to make the barrel orange, or have orange stripes (They could include a normal coloured swappable part to get around it!) There's NEVER been an outright ban on toy guns, they just have to have certain markings on them to make them stand out as toy guns. It would be so easy for Hasbro to apply such 'approved markings' to the gun barrel or stock, but make them either super easy to peel off, or supply alternative 'unstickered' parts for people to swap out.

I love how they used the Earthrise Megatron mold instead of the Seige one. Honestly the repaint is very cartoon accurate and the tank mode is so bad-ass.
I just received my set today and I must say the Megatron is so beautiful. The paint is so nice, as a new collector I have found this is the best way to get three of the major villains. The other thing that I was so impressed with was the box artwork, the box on it’s own is a wonderful display piece. Thank you all of your step by step videos.
If Bumblebee movie Megatron takes on an earth form it would be an metallic silver and black M1 Abrams. All though the tank will match his G2 tank appearance regarding armament because he had less armament.
I am really torn on this set. Im planning on getting the Are All Dead Shockwave I still have my WfC Soundwave and thankfully it hasn't yellowed too badly, plus I'm still curious about the Legacy United version With ER Megatron between the Yolopark kit and rumored Studio 86 versions I feel like better options are coming
Whilst Megatron definitely needs work done, we found 86 Soundwave and Shockwave. Speaking of SS Shockwaves, I'm happy the BB Voyager version is soon to ship, though I hope upgraded shoulders are released so that he can become as fantastic as this pack's Shockwave.

I just picked up the original leader Siege Shockwave because I missed out on the entire WFC trilogy Transformers I have just started collecting and have made it my goal to collect the entire Siege line at first and hopefully more. Also, wonderful review love your videos keep on making wonderful Transformers reviews.
This new Megatron looks way better with the G1 colors man. The same goes with Shockwave and Soundwave doesn't looks too much of a difference in the coloring... I pre-ordered this pack from the Pulse and feel confident that they will be a great addition to my collection. 😃👍💡

Like, retool every bit/aspect that makes the mold _Blaster_ & make it more _Soundwave_ . Maybe retool the arms, or just one arm to have a port/post connection for Laserbeak? & maybe include Laserbeak, too? Again, would it work?
Looks a great set, but Shockwave wasn't aboard the Nemesis and both Megatron and Soundwave should both have their Cybertronian modes, unless this just before Mirage de-cloaks and shoots the ship up and jumps out. Maybe he's included but you just can't see him?

Call me crazy, but I think I really prefer the G2 Deco for the Gen Selects Earthrise Megatron. At any rate, I definitely want this for the Shockwave and Soundwave molds! They look pretty sick
The dying Ratchet with painted windows looks really good, with the exception of the damaged chest and sad face, and it looks like the set will come with the same blast effects as Ironhide and Prowl but with a slightly pinker hue.
They did just enough to make me keep all the old versions as well. i would have prefered darker legs for Megatron. Soundeave feels like a down grade without the inclusion of ravage and shockwave could have used the extra pieces as well. Would i have paid an extra $25 usd on top of the already $109 MSRP? Yes...i appreciate this review 👍
i do still prefer the original Cybertron Trilogy releases paint schemes. However, i'd like to see a lot more magenta used in an eventual new megs figure

I guess the Ravage that went with Laserbeak was repainted into the Target Bullseye. I would rather they include Shockwave's armor buts if they are gang-molded with the rest of the figure. Would be a waste if plastic to just throw them out, especially if they are factored into the cost of the product. Can plastic/oil prices in general just go down olease?
what do you make with your figures? Many of your Samples are heavily yellowed f.e. Netflix Soundwave, both Megs. I have them too and not a single one is nearly that much yellowed if at all. I would recommend checking your environment.
IMO if they were just gonna do a repaint, they should have just rereleased the WFC versions. I really, really, really, hope when they do the 86 versions, they get rid of those forearm blasters on Shockwave, and don't paint half of the figure, it looks ugly in tape mode, have the grey past is unpainted. Make Megatron's treads backpack detachable. Maybe hasbo can come out with a dying Optimus 3 pack, him and two others and the table. You can recreate scene from the movie, when he's on the table, handing over the matrix. They already have done ratchet and prowl. Or maybe even have a 3 pack with a non-transforming Teletran 1, just the actual computer from the cartoon.

Fyi, soundwave has grooves in his arms that laserbeak's feet can slot into, so you don't need to use the 5mm port

If you are having loose joint issues try a little floor polish, it'll tighten the joints up
