When I said I wanted more R&B in my voice, less straight pop, he knew what I meant and he made it happen". She says she wanted more "R&B" in her voice and the producer helped her develop that sound. I also remember her recording "I'm not a girl..." and the producer also coached her on how to sing certain bits, and that was later in her career. She's definitely talented being able to strain her voice like that and make it work, but it was more something that she agreed with because it worked at the time, and eventually ended up being damaging to her singing ability.

Her big inspirations was the Jacksons and Mariah Carey so it makes sense. A full raspy nasal voice. French inflection. I'm half venezuelan just like Mariah. Also my voice has been always deep. Plus I grew up in TX. I don't even have to try to sound like Britney. Very much the opposite 😂
