- Following the close of a galaxy-spanning war, the members of FIXER, a slapdash special forces team, are no longer needed. Washed up and no longer having a purpose, they now find themselves sent on useless mission after useless mission. They pass their time by complaining and doing whatever they can to stave off boredom. However, on this newest assignment they slowly and unwittingly begin to uncover a strange mystery. Each member will be tested -whether by sheer monotony and boredom of military life or else by the unfathomable dangers lurking just beneath.

"How are you so fast?"
"He ran track."
"I ran track back in Highschool"
"Oh motherf-"
Babe wake up, new Crash just dropped
YEAH!
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOU- oh shit, fr?
@PSP27699 Yep. Also, I made breakfast for dinner for everyone and now you're out of bread, eggs, bacon, and hammers.....you may want to restock.
Me: hey Bob, do you know These people???
Bob: I don't know and I don't care, all I know is... They made breakfast. OH! and new episode of crash has come out.
Me: ...okay... hey you pass me the bacon.
You: I ain't passing you Sh!t
Me: Ouch...my feelings🥲
This is the funniest bunch of replies I've read hahaha
Wes flabbergasted by literally everyone on fixer is mood
"Booze + you = Die" needs to be a shirt
I'm almost certain it's a callout to a Soviet Treasure island meme about Rum and Death.
@@Bronasaxon ok.... didn't know that

Duke slowly realizing his hunger for atte- fun is what’s keeping others around him from being fun is peak character development for his archetype
“I ran track in high school” love the reference
"What about those 40k things?"
"Shut up duke!"
Me currently building a knight lmao
Lilly and Wes once again being S tier additions to the series once again, love to see it. See you guys in less than 3 months this time?
Here's hoping
@@blazingb00mrang HA! That’s a crash reference !
I'm guessing FIXER has gotten themselves caught up in some post-war ONI shenanigans involving the Sangheili. Looking forward to see how this all pans out.
I adore Wes’s complete exasperation towards Peanuts weird invincibility.
I'm starting to think Peanut might be right about being 80 years old
Or, maybe, he still has like half a bottle of “vitamins” in his system. It HAS only been like 3 hours since he took them, anyhow.
Wes taking Peanut seriously when mentioning the secret door and Lilly's subtle probing of the team feels like a confirmation of my theory that they are a part of either ONI or Farside. Given that they moved to Fixer as an escape for their last post I'm going to guess ONI.
The AI is learning and is playing back Crash's comments to Peanut when they were on watch together. I wonder if its using the radios as a way of collecting information on them to mimic them better. If so then it has some work to do.
Hey that's part of my theory... well not really I mentioned it when episode 1 or 2 came out and boom said " I wont confirm or deny anything " accidently giving a hint I was on the right path. Or he would have not bothered ... probably
Ohhh thats an interesting theory
23:20
“What do you want from me? I ran track in high school.”
“YOU’LL NEVER CATCH ME ALIVE! I ran Track in high school!”
Peanut & Duke: *Recklessly Existing*
Wes: "Urge to kill, rising..."
Wes running gag quotes:
“Are you hurt?”
“No? Then get out.”
I'd say the mark of a well written cast of characters is when you can stick any two of them into an empty room, and their interaction will still be entertaining. You've absolutely nailed that!
Well, we know a little more about why Duke drinks so much. It’s to deal with some kind of problem. Also, dude he somehow TANKED chlorine powder. This man’s on another level of pain tolerance
Well we already know that he never had a father figure in his life
Well, there all vets of the worst war humanity had ever seen in this universe; I'm guessing the substance abuse goes hand in hand there.
I am convinced Peanut has some spartan enhancements with the shit he endures
Dukes PTSD after waking up is weird after seeing his character this long, but it makes sense.
I absolutely am for the confused medic wondering how a man is so fast
I love how a lot of shots have all this empty space in them around the focus of the camera. It looks like the camera is trying to bait you into seeing the flickering ghosts even when more often that not, they aren't there.
I just remembered Duke doesn't say the F word so this makes it even funnier
I like how Lily is portrayed as being a kind soft spoken person with the implication she's a badass, I'm looking forward to seeing her in action.
I also love how she even apologized after her grandpa joke like she was like aww fuck im sorryyy
Aw! Duke sounded so happy to see Peanut doing better ❤
The final scene of them noticing incongruities within reality gave me chills.
Thank you for the new episode!
I think your system misspelled inconsistencies
@@generalfluffyproto Both words would work since they're synonyms.
It’s only a matter of time before the old rvb/halo fans stumble upon this and it blows up. Every episode only gets better than the last!
Feel free to share it with any RvB fans you know!
@@blazingb00mrangThanks for making this man. I'll be sure to share with my discord group.
Don't hurt yourself making this either. Too many people on the internet end up with burn out or bad feelings about creating stuff due to constantly pushing themselves. And i can tell this community doesnt want that.
So even if you have to take long breaks you do what feels right on this path that's been given to you.
I can't believe we've gotten five episodes in and we still don't know what in the hell the EZ actually...is. And it's not because the show is loaded with filler. The writing is top tier.
Well the EZ is basically the quarantine zone around the city of New Mombasa, it was quarantined after the events of Halo 3 when a Flood infected the Covenant CCS battlecruiser (Name: Indulgence of Conviction) crashed and, landed near the ruins of New Mombasa subsequently releasing its infected payload and causing a Flood outbreak to occur on Earth, to stop this the Master Cheif and the Arbiter boarded the ship to overload its reactor core.
Afterward, the Covenant Separatists glassed the entire area to stop any infection spore from escaping, the EZ is probably been set up to keep up the quarantine and if a flood outbreak were to again happen then QRF would quickly respond and has also been set up to protect the Silpspace portal that leads directly to the Ark that sits outside of the known galaxy.
So yeah the EZ is there to enforce quarantine and to protect the portal.
I have a feeling this is going to be RVB spiritual successor
so did we just see a hologram/ghost of Crash on the bridge, Duke hitting a box into an invisible object AND Target frozen in his armor? That is chilling.
See I wasn't under the impression he was in his armor. I was thinking he had noclipped and that armor was like a "ghost" in a similar sense as Crash was for Izzy. Honestly I thought this show was going to be pretty standard as far as story, but this has blown RvB out of the water in only 5 episodes, and they didn't even need Monty to do it!
The “I ran track in high school” joke is definitely a reference to Doc
Damn… weird to see these guys actually caring for each other.
Amazing job setting the mood, B00m. I like what you did with Peanut. Really reminds me of caboose.
More like the unholy child of Caboose and Donut
My god the vibe and atmosphere was on point gave me that 343 Guilty Spark level vibe.
Well, im glad someone's taken the mantle RvB left behind before cannibalizing itself pathetically
Wes is going to make so many groundbreaking medical discoveries with this bunch. Assuming he survives the mental and emotional turmoil.
Nice ties to some Halo lore in here. This series just keeps getting better and better with each episode.
Poor Doc is realizing maybe the previous posting might not have been so bad
Well he doesn't have a long line of drunk patients anymore, just a few weirdos
This series is one of the best blends of both a serious and comedic tone, on top of the post-war setting, the mystery, phenomenal character writing and acting, it literally has it all. Beyond excited for more!
This is arguably has some of the best writing of any show right now, this is amazing, and this cliffhanger was painfull to endure
Wes is already my favourite character the way he’s absolutely speechless and confused when peanut is talking to him is hilarious to me!
I absolutely love how alive this setting is, going above and beyond most machinima by having our characters pass other patrols on the road, having warships in the sky, the military radio station playing, EAZ is a cool setting, after the war the fact the place has a big forerunner portal right next to it means it’s important so it needs to be garrisoned, but not so important as to put the best units who are more needed out in the colonies. Loved the comments from Izzy on Pop’s history, interested in diving more into that. Everyone on fixer has such a good dynamic and Lilly an Wes definitely add to it and fit in, generally looking forward to more
Modding in machinima brings so much longevity and immersion that it should really usher into another machinima golden age.
Damn. Now I want a t-shirt of Wes saying “get out of my med bay.”
When seeing the video ending. “indeed, WTF?!”
That ending went Reeeaal strange there.
Wes is definitely becoming my favorite character. I love his line delivery
Lily speaks so softly but I feel like she going to end up comparable to Tex
Oh this takes place when Arbiter joined forced with the UNSC!!
I love the story
30+ MINUTES???
You spoil us.
In just 5 episodes I've been completely charmed by the characters. They're so good, the writing for them is great and the voice actors are awesome. The subtle views into each character's backstories are interesting and leaves me wanting more. Can't wait for more episodes.
9:45 POOR LILLY!!!! Give that solider a hug and a plushy!!
I just realized I wasn't subbed till now, Crash is quickly becoming a favorite. I just hope B00mrang doesn't forget to make Crash what he wants it to be.
I literally screamed “No!” When the episode ended. This series is so good it reinforces my hope in humanity. Thank you for making a great show and I fien for the next episode.
y'know i really love the fact that yall got ships moving throughout the exclusion zone,y'know, considering everything that happened n stuff
Bit late on my comment but here it is:
This is the best episode yet. The pacing and humor is snappier despite the episode length being roughly the same as episode 1.
Duke surpringly has moments of self reflection as he wonders if he is the buzzkill, which I love. I wonder how many schennanigans this whole being unable to drink for weeks will bring.
Wes getting overwhelmed by FIXER's Schennanigans is hilarious, hope the poor guy doesn't hurt himself or go insane.
Lilly's quiet demeanor while on the surface is nice in the midst of such wacky personalities is very suspicious this episode. The interaction with Wes and Lilly felt like they know more about the situation than they let on.
The conversation between Farside and "Wide Eye" is very suspicious. Curious to see what these two groups are up to, and why Farside is half hearted in finding the missing groups.
Overall this is an great story that continues to progress.
Upon the second watch through, I definitely see what you mean about Wes and Lily. I don't think they're up to no good, but I do think they got access to classified documents or something to that effect at some point.
@@4shotpastas I agree. I did not suggest they were up to no good, just that they know more than they let on.
@@ReiseLukas Yuh I gotchu
Personally, Lillys quiet demeanor combined with verbally reminding herself of sarcasm feels like some form of nerodivergence (I'm no psychologist however take with a grain of salt). To some nerodivergent people a conversion is a social minefield and navigating it requires caution and forethought leading to a quiet demeanor.
But on second observation she does seem strangely competent....strange especially considering everyone else shown....
Wes became my favourite character. The grumpy vet and doc who had enough bs
I love the underlying feeling of dread this series gives it’s almost as if the comedy solely exists to offset that in hopes of no one noticing.
Peanut and wes's dynamic is funny af lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂 " wait how did you even get up there???" lol
That is how you comedically introduce two new members to the group. Wes is going to crack at some point and Lily seems like the kind of person to go along with anything.
This one's prolly my favorite episode so far. Everyone did such a good job, from the modders too the VAs, to the man himself...
Orc. Way to go everyone.
Awesome as always ! I love hearing more about the characters' backstories. It seems that the base is recording everything in it with holograms. And that the recordings degrade. That's why all the older stuff is so brief and fuzzy, while the 'new' recordings are lengthy and very clear, to the point of fooling even Izzy.
I also find the sheer panic in Duke's voice when he sees the cruiser kind of touching, as well as his interactions later on. He's clearly gone through a lot of shit, and his alcoholism and rampant sarcasm are a cry for help.
Saw the ODSTs on the discord teaser, but it was still a shock seeing them out in the open, just looking at the ships. It's always awesome seeing the 'regular' troops around, and it kind of hammers home the insanity of the deployment here. There's entire BASES worth of spec ops and several capital ships deployed at the exclusion zone. Pops' comment about the half hearted rescue attempts really hit harder with that, these ONI/FARSIDE guys have functionally infinite resources here, they could just drown an area in soldiers to look for a missing one but instead they get barely directed search teams looking at a few old ruins, which they search half heartedly mind you (since neither Fixer nor Delta teams found Specter's body during each of their passes in episode 3).
That ending was something else, man! I was not expecting to be legitimately creeped out.
To quote Crash, Izzy, and Duke: "What the fuck?!"
RoosterTeeth would be proud of this channel. God speed, you gloriously creative bastards. I wish you years of success with this show.
Wes and Peanut are already such a really fucking funny dynamic.
If they don't get a tag line soon, then at this point they should just have it be "We don't have a tag line"
this has potential for becoming the new rvb
Been far too long I've seen a new machinima series and this little diddy is checking all the boxes and making numbers
16:43 I would kill to see the worlds largest flea
Holy shit Izzy is the Simmons of the group.
Except she isn't exactly a brown nose
Wes has become my favorite character in this show. He’s such a mood LMAO
Duke is hilarious, Lilly is the sweetest lady alive, and Wes is probably gonna be like the uncle Crash never had who is mutually fed up with everyone else's garbage.
AI took no time to start messing with Lilly wonder if it’s targeting the “competent” ones first
Good point, but I would think that maybe Pops would be one of the first few people it would target first. He seems to have not been noticing all the weird occurrences that are happening.
I personally don't want it to be an ai but facing the facts, it's an Ai isn't it
I imagine it would want to keep thr rest nice and calm ... ish while the leader's still around
@@thebob3563 maybe but if it makes your best soldiers jumpy Pops might not believe them haha or at least that what I think. Either way I’m loving the series so far.
@@blazeburner4832Or perhaps it wants to be found since it’s gone rouge?
This could be the next Red Vs Blue, and maybe it'll last this time if it can stay professional. The age of the frat boy attitude in a job situation is over!
I could write down all the parts I liked about this episode but then I would just be rewriting the video line for line! This has me so hooked and on the edge of my seat for the story moving forward! Im also blown away by how well the characters are fleshing out! I’ve seen million and billion dollar tv shows with characters and storylines that aren’t half as good as the one you guys have whipped up! In 5 episodes!
Is "What the fuck" the "Son of a Bitch* equivalent of this series, cause wow. 3 different people saying it in a row
Nice reference
Here's hoping that this ushers in a new age of Halo Machinima.
They never really stopped, just weren't paid attention to for a while.
Wes continues to be my favorite character. His VA just absolutely kills the role.
I'm already starting to love how Wes reacts to Fixer team.
23:20 I love that reference
Wes is shaping up to be an Agent Washington type guy. Nice
Holy shit “That one looks glassy” peanut saw whatever that cloaked thing is back in episode 2
Check out the beginning of Star Trek Insurrection, that's what I think is going on
@@ReiseLukas ooooh will do
Wes is an awesome addition. He’s like Doc mixed with Washington. Love this series guys, I thank everyone who’s worked on it.
Lily seems like too sweet of a person to be a Marine. She’d make a great peer support officer. I cant wait to see more of her character.
Based of some things she said in Episode 4 she may have a history connected to the Spartans
I hope this series becomes as big as RvB, maybe bigger. It doesn't even need to do more than this.
As long as it doesn't follow the path of Rooster Teeth and succumb to corporatism
If you know any RvB fans you think would enjoy it, feel free to share! It helps massively
ODST in the rain goes hard a lot.
This is an amazing series honestly I miss stuff like this show
Oh there is something beautiful about reading Hunter's in the Dark alongside this -- the first few chapters cover THIS AREA and the entire book explores tension between UNSC and the SoS. If you feel the hostilities from Crash towards to SoS are a tad dramatic, read that book and get a picture of how his past could've looked facing them down and how, may, come to grips with that ;) (also it's a very good read).
At this point, I think it's just funnier if you don't even bother with a tag line. The tag line is that there is no tag line.
That ending can only be described in 3 words: "What the fuck?"
Fills me with joy that Halo shows are still being made. I'm here for the long haul!
I really like how it seems that Crash is becoming a bit paranoid and I love how the wider lore and story is being very slowly unveiled while the humor and jokes are still very much present, fantastic work as always!
Edit: I reeeeally love the kinda desperado/noir vibe of the music in the second half, especially during the body discovery
so, Peanut is too stupid to die, and Duke is too tanky. Nice
Honestly I can't tell who my favourite character is becuase they're all so good. But for this episode, I would say Doc.
Also you guys should make a wiki page at some point.
Sounds familiar, caboose
Here's hoping our favorite farmboy is recoverable
That ending is terrifying.
How do you know?
@@rexcaptain2462 Cause I watched it. It's right there. It's the same video you just commented under.
@@DM_2145 I did?
High Ground during a thunderstorm is an aesthetic I never knew I needed.
Just got sick so this is perfect to watch as i sip tea all day long.
And what the fuck.

Yo, that part where crash disappeared right in front of Izzy was genuinely startling. I think what really sold it was how the character reacted just like the audience did. If you've ever watched 6th sense, the twist at the end achieves the same effect. Great job, and I hope you know you're an inspiration to screenwriters everywhere.
Honestly this is both nostalgic and fresh.
Just finished up all my assessments to find a new episode of CRASH was uploaded. It's like a reward.
One of my theories is that they stumbled into a prototype holodeck.
The captain got an armor upgrade! Heck, most of the crew got upgrades! Impressive!
OK so first off great episode second way to suddenly turn the mystery intrigue up to 11 keep up the amazing job.
You can’t just drop a new episode of Crash and end it on a cliffhanger of something that gives off an absolute “What the fuck?!” moment!!!
Edit: Also, was Duke about to swear at the end? I could’ve sworn that was about to happen!
BRO, YOU CAN'T END IT LIKE THAT!!!
