  • WMA520W beko washing machine drum bearing and oil seal replacement..... this is the strip down and preperation for new bearings and oil seal.
The whole video is too long for youtube, so part 1 is the strip down and part 2 is fitting the new bearings
This video is specific to the model number quoted and does not apply to every Beko washer

Have found out that it's a 'welded tub' so I assume that it's not repairable after all? 9 days outside of the 1 year guarantee. Great stuff Beko!!!!

having same issue. its very frustrating. Will never buy anything BEKO again. Its utter crap. Paid £250, and its lasted just over a year. I feel cheated and will now have to buy another.... I will buy a second hand one from the washing machine shop as honestly not spending money on cheap ones as they don't last. Nothing is built to last. such a con.

Great vid. But if you've got a WMB washing machine it's got a welded drum so bearings aren't a serviceable item. It's scrap.

I have a beko wmb714422s washer which (when it runs) gets extremely hot around the cabinat of the machine. I can actually feel the heat of it from a few intches away from it. can you tell me what you think it could be please?

Hello, our machine a WASH 512W is vibrating and very noisy on 1200rpm spin. After watching this video, I now know that the element clip is what I have found inside the pump housing. Would this be enough to make the drum very noisy but only at high spin speeds and make the drum vibrate like crazy please? Also can the WASH 512W drum be removed or is it a sealed unit please?

    Cheers mate,thats really helpful.

Hi my drum makes a creak/ squeak noise when it's doing a spin cycle. Also when I put my hand on the drum an slightly push it in and out slightly. Does that mean that my bearings need replaced?

could be that something's out of balance or an item in the drum is hitting the drum as it turns, or could be something to do with transit bolts or the spider (at the back of the drum)ps im not an expert and these answers are down to research
