I showed my wife highlights of the HK7s and now she’s hooked. Neither of us come from traditional rugby country but we love how fast paced and easier to understand 7s is. I’m looking forward to 7s more than any other sport at the Olympics. Hello from Texas

Split GB back up, England games always create the best atmosphere. One half stadium screams for England the other half screams for whoever they play against. Best atmosphere ever.
Long long time ago, in the 80’s, England won the cup 5 years in a row, the English players were quoted as saying playing in the HK Stadium, the support they had made them feel like playing at home. Well said
only issue is that with sevens now being an olympic sport, the tournament serves as qualification for the olympics, and it is team GB at the olympics... shame really, loved the old days

Canada can still be a host even if neither Men or Women are included.......as an example Hong Kong and Dubai.........Canadian women are 5th anyway!
A NFL style combine day would be cool for sevens where the whole sevens squad does all the NFL tests. 40 years dash, broad jump, vertical leap and then some kick accuracy etc... I'd get to know the players a bit better
Please can you scrap Team GB and bring back Nations Team England,Wales and Scotland as we like watching them on the 7s Series Circut and only select Team GB during the Olympic year cycle only.

Great to watch rugby 7s, unfortunately in the UK behind a pay per view wall so unlikely to be promoted to a wider audience, also not enough played at youth level grass roots, so start the game there and you never know it may take off!!

New Zealand would have at least medaled in 2016 if they didn't suddenly bring in "big names" from the 15s game. Dupont is the minority within the minority of players who can play high-level 15s and 7s. Sevens does not need to bow down to the personalities in the 15s game. Including disconnected pundits.
