Amazingly Helpful. Many years ago I had the nuances of project nailed and actually understand completely how to lay out the tasks, etc. but, for some reason when I came back to Project to load things up, I was completely lost again. This 15 minutes got me back straight! Thanks Cody, well done and much appreciated sir.
Talk about clear, concise, and to the point, this video was a gem of a find. I knew the software wasn't rocket science, and you proved that in 15 minutes, flats using project-based education, which I think is the best way to learn quick. I'm ready to operate the software now...thanks

If you guys are getting issues with your task dates with them defaulting to manual. Look at the bottom left of the page and make sure that the New tasks are set to manual by default. Hope that helps anyone stuck like I was. Great tutorial btw.

Hi Cody, thanks for your video! It’s very informative. I have some questions about the MS project. How do I deal with a huge time gap between tasks? For example, after finishing task A, we need to wait for 2 months to start the task B. Should I just add a lag time between task A and B? Thanks for your help!

What Isabella V said below! Man, I wish you had more videos on Excel in's and out's. I didn't even need this one but was curious after watching your "Learn Macros in 7 mins" and actually realized, although it didn’t speak to what I was looking for, there are a number of ways I could use this personally! I have burned so much midnight oil going through well-meaning videos searching for a particular formula only to be left with the same "What the What" face I sat down with. I soooo need to learn how to: If Sheet1 Column B contains YES then enter all data in that row to next available row on Sheet2. Do you have a video/blog/anything I missed that could walk me through? Or recommendation for another CZcamsr/blog that would help? Thanks!

Have a few issues. In the trial version I can do everything up to managing resources. I don’t have access to the menu options (File, Resource, Report, View etc...)
I’m using Project Plan 1 which looks similar to this but slightly different features. (For eg Predecessors tab is called ‘Depends on’)
Project Plan 3 is a completely did interface
HI Cody; very well briefed video. Just one thing i couldn't work out. I put everything same as per your data/details. But the "Foundation" duration is coming up as 54 days instead of 20 days (in the video), everything else looks same. Even dates are same also, can you please advise??

Mr. Baldwin. I enjoy your videos and hope you can direct me to the correct place. I have a spreadsheet with 82 counties listed as rows, and 52 weeks listed as columns. In cells I have identified if county employees are available to contact with words and colored the cells. I am trying to figure out how to determine which counties are available for our staff to meet with each county based on our information and our availability. Is there a simple way to do this? Thanks so much! Bob

This program is over/under complicated. You dont have the estimates for procurement and real life situations. They hire someone to for 100k and it is a waste instead of hiring someone that will let you know time duration. Some troubleshooting of equipment cant have a time estimate.
