Our daughter's friend's family built and provision a remote cabin in the mountains as a tribute to a family member that lost their lives in the area. They hike to the cabin every year to provision and maintain it.
That is dumb wasting your $$$$.
Troll!
@@donraptor6156 You live a sad and lonely existence, don't you?
@@donraptor6156May you be in need a safe haven for a few nights and be blessed enough to find some place like this.
I have a problem with people like you that trespass and spoil the natural beauty of an area.
We have bothys all over the mountains in Scotland and im sure many lives ave been saved because of them.
These cabins save many lives, always must leave it stocked for the next person
unfortunately. in parts of the USA... you'd find them destroyed, burned down... cuz people would move into them to live there for a short time... squatting, then destroy them.
@@jenniferstewarts4851uh no buddy 😂 no ones squatting on a mountain in a cabin on BLM land 😅
@@Steve.._. Hmm? who said "on a mountain". Farmers for example have found outbuildings on their farms destroyed... with garbage everywhere around them.
Farmer had to call the fire department because some how... his horse run in caught fire and was burning. Turns out some people hung a tarp over the enterence and tried building a fire inside to stay warm but... set the entire place on fire.
parks and rec - several rental cabins were found just trashed... since they were only 3 season cabins they weren't used in the winter, were broken into garbage and fecal mater was everywhere... propane tanks laying around... many likely stolen. cost something like 150k to fix and clean everything.
it happens all the time.
@@Steve.._. oh, side note, i highly doubt it has a single thing to do with BLM, and everything to do with homeless situations... THOUGH in a few cases it was due to... oil protestors... They were breaking into places to squat while protesting pipelines in rural areas...
The silence was so refreshing.
Thank You for sharing.
The safety hut looked liked a touch of heaven as the winds howled. You have my utmost respect facing such a challenge and sharing with us.
Stay safe
I think these types of cabins should always have a few cans of something left behind in them, in case someone is in really dire straits. These cabins might save you from the cold, but if for some reason you lost everything and had to take shelter there, you'd still be in a lot of trouble if you had no food or water. So a couple bottles of water and cans of food should be mandatory at all times.
And some wood, and lighters.
It is on a mountain covered in snow you have more water than you’ll ever need
Excellent use of solar, that cabin is neat.
An excellent little hut. Somebody put a lot of thought into making it comfortable and safe. It also looked like somebody was taking very good care of it. So glad you found it.
i am sure he knew where that cabin was. you are not traveling up in mountains like that without some idea for shelter
It wasn’t a surprise to this guy he knew where he was going
@@YaHsServent please stop posting nonsense. you have been reported for spamming...
@@hellshade2
You just violated the first amendment sir
It doesn't look like that at all. More so it's just in a remote region.
Touched!
I have a very bad day today, near lost trust in every human being...
This save me...
Thank You.
I hope you will feel better soon. It’s hard feeling anxious, but you will get through. We are like the water. We rise and fall constantly.
Whatever troubles you shall pass.
Stay strong brother………I promise you what you’re going through is temporary……..stay focus, prioritise the important things and disregard the trivial nonsense. 🙏🙏
The morning after shots with the music were really beautifully done.

It's a shame those climbing Mt Everest don't behave the same way. The mountain and surrounding areas are a cesspool.
Looking at the desolate surroundings, it shows how being sheltered from those harsh realities is life or death. Compared to that ladybug, we are far more fragile in many ways.
yeah that morning after drone shot where you just see the tiny hut surrounded by nothing but rocks and snow really puts in perspective just how remote the cabin is
@@Geheimagent456 My guess is this man used Google maps to find this cabin. He went on HIS hike to be at this cabin. I was Surprised to see the other buildings that high up in the Mountains, You can shoot some game for Your meat, however; Were do you grow the vegetables?? There were Great airal shots of the area to Show the Great Mountains.
Legit mindful, they need more of these everywhere!!!
as long as you pay for them....
yeah it would be smart to place these all throughout the deep wilderness for pro hikers and the un-pro who get lost, especially out in national parks, Yellow stone park, etc etc. with a irreplaceable Hamm radio, dry food. once a month restock them, repaid, make modifications if needed, and replenish first aid kits and other goods.
@@DrDevilish1 I imagine they would be abused, the last thing we need is squatters.
They hhqd some along the west coast. They became a place trash piled up, so they either removed them or they burnt down.
Are they bear proof?
that cabin is so amazing... i always love small housing and be more outdoor!
Foot prints and trailing mountainous slopes are our addiction.
It's wonderful to have those little cabins around. Life savers they can be, for sure. Looked very cozy and warm, too. Enjoyed your video very much; thank you.
That fellow has lived a more fulfilling life than many folk these days
Thank you for the very peaceful video.
I'm not a mountaineering individual but I take my hat off to you. What a fantastic adventure. It was so black outside. Great video
That was amazing. Great little cabin.
The hut is in incredible idea, but the video left me with way more qurestions.
As did your post leave me with.
😮
And they were……?
Yes, what questions?
Perhaps:
How was it built?
What is the fuel for the stove?
How was the ladybug alive?
Why did he leave the door open and let the heat out when he got snow for water?
Kazakhstan seems to be a nice place to visit. I bet these mountains are quite high...
4000 - 5000 meter
😅
Yikes 😬. My hubs great great great grandmother came from 🇰🇿Kazakhstan
I love mountain shelters 🤟🏻🏔️
Very well done 👍👍 you are so blessed to be a part of that scenery...
6:27, bless you! your sneeze at last confirms that you have now been restored to your human form. take care then
Beautifully done and, for once, some music that compliments the landscape.
What a blessing to find such a nice shelter. You would do well to first shovel out the excess ash (since there was soo much) from the stove before starting a fire. That way you have more room to stock your fire with more wood/fuel.
There appeared to be plenty of unburnt carbon amongst that ash. Considering the location and lack of available sources of heat, I’d leave it where it was and use it as a good base for a fire.
From what I saw, there wasn't any wood to burn. There should always be some ashes left in the bottom of a wood or other fuel burning stove/heater. They stop the bottom of the stove from burning out as fast.
That was a nice peaceful 12 minutes of watching Something interesting ! Thank you !
The mountains are calling so I must go❤️
This is an awesome place to visit even with all that snow and freezing weather
it looks like hell to me
Hi looked really cold climbing the mountains I bet you was glad of the little hut 😊
I’ve been hiking all over Norway staying in similar cabins
🙋👍🇮🇪✌️
Opening drone shots are fantastic! Nicely done.
Tato chata zachrání spoustu životů, Spát sám vysoko v horách, bez mluvení
Dobra rzecz w takich warunkach.
Awesome shelter
It's a warm welcome.
I’ve heard that to feel small we should stand near the ocean, but when I saw how tiny the safety hut looked sitting between those peaks I was reminded of the wee little beetle just moments before. We forget how small we are as humans don’t we…
Wow! That looks so clean it looks like an 3 stars hotel 😂😂😂
the tiny house , hay are the greatest
Wow❤ everyone l9k after such a safe haven
Safe journey, brother.
It’s been awhile since I watched your channel will try to catch up on old videos
I can think of many locales, that need one of those. Just in Wyoming / Montana / Northern Idaho & Alaska…
This type of cabin should be placed along the hiking trails
Music really was a great compliment to the video.
complement
What a GREAT idea
This was AWESOME !!!!
Mountain hiking is not my cup of tea, but I can see the allure such activities have for some people. To know that such a shelter exists would no doubt create a desire to take on a trek of this magnitude.
If I knew I was going to be warm, dry and sheltered and not ha e to sleep in a tent id be more inclined to go mountain climbing. I live in Scotland so it's on my doorstep but I've a friend who works for mountain rescue and really most of the times theyre called out because people have gone up mountains totally unequipped amd have got caught by the ever changing weather.
❤❤❤Shame Kazakhstan doesn't find a science foundation to use the community, that way the resources are plentiful like wood for their stoves❤❤❤
5:02 ...Thought it was partytime for a moment 😂
😂😂😂😂
He would be freakin rich if he had all of that
This is a wonderful thing. I love these submersibles
Yapanlara teşekkür ederiz 🙏🏻
Winter is coming they said. Go to the mountain they said.

Where is this? That's a remarkable structure. Old school free standing fireplace.
Almaty Kazakhstan
I love the music in the video :) like a movie.
Almaty, Kazakhstan according to the coordinates he flashed on screen…..very remote location.
Very good cabin😍
LOVE THAT EVEN GOT SOLAR PANELS GREAT CABINET
You just sort of found it, gee how lucky, out there in the wind and freezing cold. And just sort of be having a video camer cued up and ready for this sponteaneous find.
Excellent👍👏😆
For long hikes on snowshoes, ski touring and even joëlettes for accompanied disabled people, it would really be the best!
Gosh i love the environment... it's like a movie made of the game called Icarus. Thanks for sharing!
love it from uk granny, need wind up radio
The sign on the door is: Take nothing except your photo, leave nothing except your footprints (in russian). NOTHING is in the middle in large letters
Thank you!
All of these Lone Guys out in the wilderness have probably never watched any 'Missing 411' episodes.
I like to see these shelters on my Everest
Fantastic! That was different......
Great video, no gab. I love it!
6:29. God bless you 😮❤
I loved he clean the cabin after using 😊
That Campbell-Stokes recorded left there unused it’s really sad, it deserves to be restored.
Wonderful idea to have these, with all the basics. Great video. Thanks!😊
Love from India ❤🎉
Thank you love the video cheers from Boston
Un vie dure ,un paysage fantastique félicitation
Awesome vlog ❤❤
These are really neat to watch, but if oops your lost in a blizzard ,storm? They always seem to have food etc… with them! Lol
What was the material you put in the stove for heat?
In Europe we call this “RUF bricks”, it is actually sawmill dust that’s shaped under high pressure without addhesitives or glue. I use 1.000 kg/ year to blend in with the (2 year dried) wood I harvested from my property.
.......... (Thank you for sharing; this journey is spectacular).
What was the solid fuel you used in the stove?
Bravo ,bellissimo posto
Beautiful country indeed ty :)
Im definitely building one soon
Outstanding views
That's very nice!
No wood for the stove (obviously). Those two pieces of burning stuff sure don't last too much. Energy, energy is the big isuue, there on a cold mountain and in "normal" situations as well.
Imagine being alone in this remote cabin….. and then you hear a knock at the door in the middle of the night
….. and that’s why I stay home 😂
you sneezed into the pan.. before you went out to get ice... lol
cheers to you sir
