- Chevy Trucks are HOT, but these old relics have seen better days. In this collection you'll see mostly 1947-1955 Chevy trucks, but there are a few other cool vintage trucks, like a Jeep Renegade and a diesel-powered International Scout pickup. Parts and pieces are scattered all over the property and there are some great old school commercial trucks (including a cool cabover) in the mix as well. Take a look and stay tuned for more!

That place is a gold mine. Love those Scout pickups.
The Scout was really cool....looks to be operational, compared to some of the others.
Lots of potential projects in that yard. Thanks for the video!
You need to narrow the s-10 frame a bit to fit the older Chev pick-ups, however 1947 and up just drop right on. And there are kits to help do that. That CJ Jeep looked like a good little project.
Dad built a camper out of a 50 Chevy 3800 dump truck back in the early 60's. He also had a 49 3100 I learned how to drive when I was 14, a lot of good memories in those old Chevy trucks.
Please tell us there's a picture of the dump truck camper
@@freemansgarage I wish there was, we went through a fire in the 70's pretty much lost everything but, I will go through the old photos we have again.
Thanks hotrod Hoarder 👍
That international is cool
That Scout is definitely one you don't see everyday. Worth restoring to be sure!! Lots of cool vintage trucks, thank you for sharing!! 👍
Didn't the deisel scouts have Nissan engines ?
Knowing what I know now, in the 90s I wish I'd have bought up every square body in sight and Mosin Nagants by the pallet!
YEP! Same here. I had a nice lowered SWB square body truck in high school. I think I had $1600 tied up in it. Also had a round headlight 2wd Blazer. Couple of pawpaw long wheelbase trucks, some rough 4x4 trucks...wish I had 'em all back.
Only problem I would have in a place like this is too many decisions. I wouldn't know which one to pick. Know I would not have enough money to buy all I wanted. Great video. Thanks a ton.👍🤙🏻✌️👌😁
My thoughts exactly!
One of the best haulers I've seen was on your video
Ultimate Drag Car Hoarder
For sure, good ol' Tony McConnell...he has one of the best haulers in the country.
Very good 👍 nice to see the old rides
Thanks for watching Don!
Those how I want my yard to be one day😂
That's the dream
Thank you for the video.
Lol I've seen a lot on S10 frames lol even a Honda civic lol
Dennis collins will be hunting down that renegade 😂
I bet that spotlight on that truck was really for deer hunting at night lol!
Be careful now!
HELL yea always GREAT
Thanks for watching Tommy!
Very cool, great vid!!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you!
@@HotRodHoarder 👍👍👍
The Int. Scout has 198ci Nissan SD33 Naturally Aspirated Diesel Inline-6 or a 198ci Nissan SD33-T Turbocharged Diesel Inline-6 (very few 1979 and 1980 only)
Perhaps it is worth mentioning the diesel in the Scout came from Nissan. And as much as I love Scouts, the COE Chevy is my clear pick from this yard!
Niiiiiice thank you 👍🇦🇺
❤
That's a 47 to 53 truck the v in the windshield makes it that 54 &55 has no v and it's a 1 piece glass
nice, nice where are they located ?? Tks, Ed/A
That chopped Chevy pickup is a 47 through 53. Not 47 through 55. The 54 and early 55 trucks had a 1 piece curved windshield and that truck had the flat glass 2 piece windshield opening which has the peaked center where the center divider goes.
The doors got vent windows in 51 as well.
@@freemansgarage I have seen some 49’s and 50’s with vent windows. So far as I know only 47 and 48 didn’t have them
@@todddenio3200 I didn't know that. Wonder if they didn't swapped doors. I've seen people cut their glass to fit vent windows on 47-50's. I've got two 47's with broken door glass so I've recently been in junkyards searching for glass.
@@freemansgarage yes. they started offering them in 49 and discontinued the non vent window so only the vent window style was made from 49 to early 55 when they made the last of that style truck and switched over to the new design for the rest of 55 to 59.
@@todddenio3200 I see. That's good info.
Hay, is any of that old iron for sale ??
I love what you have of any way I can find out where you're located at
Curious is there any Finished trucks on that land? or is this where they all go to get started, or taken apart?
Looking for a none rust Beyond use 55 Chevy 2or4 door roller car, lol nice thanks BigAl thanks California praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏
Quit admiring! You can still find these old trucks in MO and KS for $1000 or less. You should be collecting them if you love it so much.
🤔😥😥
Never see any 1940 Chevrolet pickups.
WW II happened.
😥☹😥😥🚗🚘
None of these "cool little projects" will ever be completed.
