  • Not much has changed this year The powerfly 4 is still tracks entry level mountain bike starting around that $5,000 mark way higher than its entry level cruiser bike. For this price increase you do get much better electric system larger range and overall better quality bike for off-road use. The Bosch electric system is super high quality and works really well with little to no maintenance over a long period of time.

I would argue that 10 speed isn't a downside on a mid drive bike. You get a thicker, stronger chain

I know this is an OLD video, but having had an e-bike now for almost a year, I chose a Specialized Turbo Como SL 5.0 IGH, belt drive, simply because it had what I wanted at the TIME... now LOVING ebikes and the FREEDOM to go go go longer I am looking at number 2, for MORE different type of FUN, I can TWEEK the power of the engine with the APP, Mission Control, so I only use 5% assist and 15% in Sport and then 85 in turbo, MY LONGEST ride was 88 kilometres, or 54.7 miles and had 11% battery left then if ever, the bike is still a bike just no electric assist. EASY.

I strongly recommend purchasing the Marlin + instead of the powerfly. Powerfly battery rattles inside the frame over bumpy trails and feels like a heavy bike on the trails. Test ride both first.

Hey buddy nice video! Saw your video and it helped solidify my purchase of the exact same bike here in Nova Scotia. Question for you,
do these bikes come with this update I’ve been hearing about to the new 85 NM setting? Right now I’m pretty sure mine is 75 unless the dealer has to update it??
    Thanks for any info! :)

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. czcams.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
