    Actually during their concert ment, their english really improved A LOT. Like I'm not even kidding, all of them have been learning english and they really did a good job for someone who's not a native speaker.

    They are so freaking smart. They are putting an effort to learn full sentences, and prepare concert ments to speak to Stays in their languages, even if they struggle. Chan even praised the boys for their hard work during their concerts lately. 💛💖

    I think than Chan speaks to Felix in English because it is a comfort to him. He has said in the past that he can relax and be open because he can speak English.

    Lee Know was really impressive at the Seattle concert. When they did their goodbyes you could see him practicing the English by mouthing the words before he said them. The fact that all the members who aren't strong in English do this for their foreign fans (even though they have a translator on set!) is really touching.

  • @AmalaFrequents
    @AmalaFrequents Před 2 lety +34

    SKZ are impressive because pretty much all of them are learning English and Japanese. Lee Know studied Japanese more but he seems to have really taken up English again for the US tour. Just the difference in his comfort and fluency as he speaks over the past month is kind of incredible. Chan learned Japanese from his friends so apparently speaks it in dialect now. I'm always so impressed with the effort and work they put in with languages.

    I'm studying to be a translator (Spanish-English) and sometimes it's so frustrating because people think that you're dumb just because you don't know how to say something in a foreign language. I'm so proud of Felix because he'd faced all those language issues and now he's more confident with himself 💖😌 our lovely members helped him a lot

    I have perfect pitch and for some reason it translates into a talent for being able to mimic accents well, not so much remembering words or the language itself but if i say something in another language, as long as I've heard it, i can say the accent really well

    Especially that 2 Kids Room episode between Felix and Chan is super relatable to me because I'll enter English words/phrases/sometimes even sentences into conversations with my friends all the time (I'm from Germany). Additionally, I'm studying Korean, so when I talk to my Korean friends who learn German, I'll sometimes enter all three languages into the conversations. (These switches only come natural to me with friends, though.) I know bits and pieces of other languages as well, but can't really speak them (because Korean basically took over my other active language skills 😅).
    I most love to describe myself as a byelingual / trylingual, though, since that just fits the best 😂

    I really like it when skz make effort to switch between languages and its so cute to watch.
    So in India, from school days itself we were made to learn three languages as mandate. One is your mother tongue, english and national language hindi. And when I got to university I had to learn Tamil another language in india because of the people there. After watching money heist I started understanding spanish and due to korean series now some korean. So switching between english and languages is easy sometimes but yeah because of practice I would say.

    Most filipinos actually switches to english and tagalog mid sentences aswell. I realized this dahil sa mga foreign reactors that watch filipino videos and talagang nagugulat sila on how nagpapalit ng languages mid sentences ang mga filipino when speaking casually. Sometimes its even harder for us to speak straight tagalog kasi we usually add english words here and there and ang hirap nya pigilan. Just like what i did in this comment. 😂 A lot of twitter users are also frustrated whenever there is a viral filipino tweet because it switches from english to tagalog so they can't enjoy the joke anymore. Just sharing because being bilingual is both fun and difficult. Hahaha.

    I do the switching languages mid sentence a whole bunch, and tbh I think most of my friends and relatives who have been victim to that are starting to get tired cause their brain doesnt register the language switching as quick as I do the switching so it all just sounds like a load of gibberish lol
    I do also have those people that I cant speak a certain language with though, like two of my closest friends (we're all trilingual, all the same languages) I cant speak anything but English to them. But then we have another friend who also knows one of the friends from earlier, and I cant bring myself to speaking english with her. It just feels wrong. So we all end up having a three - sometimes four - way conversation, all speaking different languages between eachother. It gets quite confusing to an outsider haha

    There aren't that many but one of my best friends is brazilian so she does understand if i speak Spanish,but normally we either speak in French or English. My other best friends I generally speak to them in French or in Spanish but sometimes we do use english words. With my father i try to only speak Spanish but we do speak French sometimes especially if we're around family that don't know it and we want to talk about something personal.
    My brain is a mess with those three languages though 😂
