Here are some commercials that aired on Kids' WB on WB (Now CW) affiliate WNAB Channel 58 in Nashville, TN throughout the fall of 1999. More to come. Until then, enjoy!
This was transferred to a TDK DVD-R from a RCA blank VHS tape using a JVC HR-A62U and a Panasonic DMR-EZ48V.
We used to wake up early on Saturdays to watch new episodes. These kids can watch whole series on a whim now it's so available. I miss the old ways/days.
*The WB Logo jumping in the golf cart did it for me. That whole animated WB studio scene just sparked so much nostalgia.
GOOD OLD MEMORIES WOOW IS HARD TO BELIEVE ITS BEEN almost 20 YEARS
I know. This was one if my favorite programming blocks like Fox Kids, ABC Family, Toon Disney, Cartoon Network, Boomerang. All had the best cartoons and programs since then cartoons have gotten crappy.
@@jakebritton9709 Western animation has been an insane hodge-podge because networks don't know what they want, and completely independent animation is even more of a mess.
You have a medium where things are expensive when you do it right. So the only thing networks have ever cared about is stuff that pushes merchandise and/or ad rates.
We accepted it as kids, but now we see how vapid it is as adults. Same as it ever was
@@andrejg4136 depressing thoughts. I still like it though. I have so many shows from then that o like very much.
It's crazy to think this was when I was young. Makes me feel so old seeing the VHS/TV static
Same!
1999 is the greatest year ever because of Batman Beyond, POKéMON, POKéMON The First Movie, Super Smash Bros N64, Resident Evil 3, Final Fantasy VIII, Toy Story 2, Gran Turismo 2, Digimon, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Turn A Gundam and many more...
*Was.
I'm more of a 1998 guy myself. But 1999 was cool too.
Dont forget early Spongebob, early Family Guy and Futurama
@@sirkingpinmonroe4439 Oh yeah but to be honest, I myself never liked Family Guy.
I still remember watching the Sunday night premiere of Batman Beyond and being a fan from day one. That’s why I’m thinking we will have Kids’ WB! back in some way, shape or form sooner or later. Even if it’s an app ala The CW and CW Seed. It was very important to the network’s growth and evolution.
Commercials were just better back then
I agree.
Everything was
THE KIDS WB BADGE! NO ONE HAS EVER WON IT.
Especially these three.
That cracked me up.
those astronauts can't measure up
I want my childhood back!
That makes two of us!
I was looking for kids wb commercial breaks just to relive some childhood moments. But I grew up in Nashville so this is even more than I bargained for!
Small world.
These were the commercials I could actually sit through
Likewise. :)
I wish I would have recorded my Saturday morning cartoons, didn't know how much I miss them takes me back to better times
I hear you
Kids WB in the 90s and early 2000s was one of my favorite cartoon line ups! In Chicago though, Kids WB would be on Sundays and weekdays on the once called channel 26 The U.
And while I'm not a Chicago resident, I do know that Kids' WB also aired on WGN.
@@RysClassicCommercialHut Yep! They did do that later on.
Actually, it feels contemporaneous to me, but what do I know?
Yup for us we had it on WGN first from 1995 on, then when we got our own WB Network in 1999, they kept it on WGN too but after a few months they took it off WGN.
@@Trekapedia I think that's how those of us in Baton Rouge got pre-Pokemon WB, by getting it as part of WGN Superstition.
9 years old. Pokemania at its peak…good ol days. I’m too old for kids cartoons today but I’m glad afternoon toons were still on when I was young.
I hear you.
I remember my brothers watching Pokemon quite often during the late 90s and early 2000s. Hard to believe these ads are nearly 20 years old now.
I can certainly understand that. Watched a good amount of Pokemon myself at the time too.
So did I was a Pokémon nerd lol
That makes two of us. Lmao.
I watched the anime and played the games so much I thought I was Ash Ketchum
Wooow i remember getting out of school at 3:30 and the first thing i did getting home was turning on the tv 📺 and watching these awesome cartoons and runing during the commercial for the ice cream truck out side
man the good old days, wow this is pure nostalgia.
:)

Childhood memories, I remember watching Kids’ WB! as a kid, but I watched a lot of Fox Kids back in the old days. But too bad TV sucks nowadays.
Oh the memories this brought back. Thank you so much for uploading this! ❤️
No problem!!
I'm planning a trip to Tennessee and I saw that comic book ad. They still operate the Franklin location but the other one either closed down or moved. The other store is in Murfreesboro, TN.
Point is, I really wish we got more local business ads on these. I would like to see those more than anything else.
I wasn't alive back then but this makes me nostalgic too.
I'm 26 now..wow these commercials bring back damn near tears. What happened to time ⏳❓
I hear you. I'll be 32 this February.
Time always marches on, and drags all of us with it.
I remember these commercials
This makes me so sad
Awsome. Keep up the good work
I will. :)
I remember!! this I was 9yrs old in the 5th grade about to turn 10 😮......😢
0:20 YOOO!! A commercial for my all time favorite game!
54:53 that fits so perfectly
Channel 15. I miss my childhood
I can certainly empathize.
Channel 39.
Channel 6 for me
The channel turned into CW
As did every other WB affiliate.
the Pokemon voices back then were hella funny though. Nidoran's had me dyin'.
lol
Brings me back memories 😪
Man, I really want to do drugs now. I watched these commercials every day and I still did all the drugs.
I was too busy playing video games to do drugs. Funny how that never changed.
Thats my CW station
Small world
31:57. Yeah, I can see this as a 7th Heaven plot; the Russian guy convinces Ash to commit murder! XD
lol
😢 makes me happy and sad at the same time
At 0:10: Gengar!
In VA we didnt have WB. Only fox kids :(
Could've been worse, I suppose.
15:03 Toy Story 2!!!!! ^^
16:03 Hot Wheels!!!!! ^^
@11:13 Wait... Sister?... How old is Barbie?
Barbie was introduced in 1959, so she's (currently) 61 years old.
In 1999 she would had been 41.
God she's old enough to be that baby's grandma
0:00-0:03 what show does those credits belong to?
Men In Black.
@@jefferyquick3280 I wasn't talking about the promo, I was about the credits of that show that was shown besides that men in black promo.
@@alexosei-kofi1652 Those *WERE* the credits for the Men in Black cartoon.
Gregg Berger: Agent K
Keith Diamond: Agent J
Jennifer Lien: Agent L
Charles Napier: Agent Zed.
