Akita, Japan, Tsurunoyu Onsen, SARUofAKITA

Onsen are one of my most favorite things on the face of the earth, and this one was absolutely mind-blowing. Set in the mountains near Tazawako, this place is a hidden paradise with one of the oldest and most famous natural hot spring's in all of Japan. People come from everywhere to visit, although the resort only hosts about 16 people per day. The winter season is particularly known for the mix of the hot spring water and the cold air and surrounding snow that just makes the feeling indescribable.
This is my first video of places near where I am now living in Japan, but I hope to explore some more and share my findings.
If you are ever in Akita, please search out Tsurunoyu and go!
Quick note, the best part of the onsen is actually the outdoor part, but due to it being a group bath, obviously I was not able to take any video, it's a shame because it's really beautiful too.
