@@cameronclark381 as a music producer myself I don’t like limiting myself to one certain style/formula which is something macky gee often does (in the tunes he releases at least), just because he experiments with something different doesn’t mean it’s bad or disappointing
I’m sure he will continue to release his usual style but I feel like this is a breath of fresh air instead of something that sounds exactly the same as his other stuff
(I’m no macky gee hater i actually have a few songs of his in my DJ folder)
@@georgeespley9177 I agree, but I was looking forward to another banger, it was about 9 months before Empire and when macky dropped it, I was fucking sleeping to it, that song still slaps after the 100s of plays, and I was only giving my opinion because I was disappointed it wasn't a banger, some like it, but most love macky gee for his one of a kind songs that nobody else does, not some generic edm that Martin garrix do etc

Not really liking this one. Seems a bit plain.
It's defo more commercial or "mainstream" than what he generally does, but exploring other possibilities it's not that bad Imo.
When I'm not sure to like or dislike a track, I give it an other try the day after. I do that cause sometimes it happens that our bias or the "surprise" of new sonorities or new style from an artist we use to enjoy, block us. Idk how to say that correctly but I hope you get it anyway ^^
And if you don't like it (whether you tried to re listen to it a 2nd time or not), it's totally okay and your right so yeah, it's okay ^^
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the singer/MC on this one. I mean it's alright, but she is posturing far to much and lacks authenticity to my taste.
