100%. And in 2013 it was reported here in Korea that approximately 90% of all K-drama script writers were women, a general trend that continues to the present. Says a lot about the scene/industry in general and how so many serials of the past few decades have connected with viewers worldwide on a whole another level.
the characters were great becauset he writer is great it has nothing to do with her being a woman Look at how amazingly terrible american women are when they are in charge of writting shows because americans think being a woman is enough. Reality is whether you are a man or woman has 0 relevance on how good or bad a writer you are.
The fact that the writer is a woman makes so much sense cause the emotions brought by this series was just so deep and overwhelming. I love it so much. Makes it a thousand times better knowing that the actors did their own stunts. Kudos to the director and writer!! You did so well!! So excited for moreee

I was really impressed by Han So Hee’s acting here she was able to show real emotions that was able to touch the audience’s heart and feelings. Also, I liked how Park Hee-Soon was able to portray Choi Mujin’s character very well I was shocked to see how different he is in real life and that just proves how well-rounded an actor he is. Overall, all the actors and actresses in My Name executed their characters very well and were able to show true emotions. Props to the director and writer for making a high-quality show. 👏🏻
Totally agree! I was a bit skeptical watching because of the main actress and seeing if something like this could suit her after seeing a few scenes of Nevertheless (never got to to finish the whole series). But to be honest, there’s always something about the look in her eyes when she is acting that shows determination, empowerment and yet somewhat intimidating. She was the perfect cast! I wouldn’t have changed a thing about either characters! When women write, everything to the smallest detail clicks so well with the audience. I’m super impressed and yet thankful I gave it a chance. What a bittersweet story in only 8 episodes! Hope to see Park Hee Soon more! I couldn’t hate his character at all as well. So many complex emotions. I look forward to their next projects
한소희 님의 상황해석 능력이 탁월하네요. 원 테이크 액션이든 감정연기든 모든게 자신의 영역으로 끌고 와서 창조하려는 자세가 보입니다. 학교 싸움장면에서 일진을 밀치고 뒷걸음치며 덜덜거리며 흥분한 상태로 싸우는 연기는 아주 인상깊네요. 토하며 가슴을 치면서 머리를 쥐어뜯는 고통의 몸부림은 정말 최고!!
I love that the writer decided not to put name tags on emotions and emphasize more on actions for showing emotions more than words. That made the drama even more realistic and touching. The casting was perfect, the directing, the writing, the visuals, so perfect. This made me even more proud as a kdrama fan.

나는 늘 넷플릭스가 코멘터리 영상을 올려줘서 너무 고마움.. 넷플릭스 라는 스트리밍플랫폼이 대박나는 이유는 제작과정에서 연출과 극본에 관여하지 않아서인데, 이렇게 코멘터리를 달아줌으로써 연출, 극본, 배우들까지 함께 모여서 얘기를 해줘서 작품이 끝나면 내가 해석한 작품과 그들이 해석한 작품을 대비 해볼 수 있어서 너무너무 좋음..넷플사랑해요
14:32 이장면 정말 좋아합니다…다급한 순간 그 찰나에 눈빛만으로 바로 극에 긴장감을 주는 두배우의 분위기가👍 냉철한 무진이 지우를 구해주러 앞뒤없이 폐차장 갔을때 진짜 가족같은 애틋한 느낌이었는데.. 소희 배우님이 마지막에 또다른 아버지를 죽이는 느낌이었다는 평이 기억에남네요🥲
드라마중의 많은 씬중에서도 개인적으로 가장 기억에 남고 슬펐던 대사가 박희순님(최무진)의 "난 단 한번도 나를 믿는 사람을 배신한 적이 없는데 왜 난 끊임없이 배신을 당하는걸까.." 라는 대사가 너무 마음이 아팠어요 ㅠ 박희순님이라서 더 슬펐던거 같은.. 마이 네임 정주행 6번째 ㅎ 너무 재밌습니다!

어..그냥 한마디로 최고였어요...처음에는 결말이 너무 허무하고 아쉬웠는데 몇번에 걸쳐서 보다보니깐 나중에는 결말이 어떤얘기를 하고있는지 알것같아서 이해가 되더라구요. 그리고 특히 한소희 배우님 액션씬들이 정말 생생하고 집중하게 만드는 장면들이 많았어서 더 재밌었던것같아요! 최근에 넷플릭스에서 본것들중에 가장 흥미롭고 재밌었어요!!

Choi mujin and jiwoo’s chemistry is so astronomical. It’s like all they have to do is talk to each other and look at each other and you can literally feel there chemistry. It’s so odd how they had so much chemistry bc of the age difference but it matches so well.
진실을 마주한 지우가 오열하는 씬은 정말 놀랐어요… 보통은 보면서 같이 우는데 그 씬 볼때는 눈물도 안나오고 말도 안나오고 그냥 소름만 돋았습니다.. 살면서 한번도 느껴보지 못한 감정이기때문에 어떤 고통일지 상상 조차도 안되더군요.. 그 감정을 소름돋게 잘 표현하신 한소희 배우님이 진짜 대단하다는 생각도 들구요..🥺
It was amazing of Han So Hee to do the action scenes by herself and not using the stuntman. Every scenes of her just make me cry out or even inside, it must have been so tough filming this but she just nailed it. Love you from this drama Han So Hee 💘✨🌈
i enjoyed Pildo's relationship with Jiwoo even though there wasn't a lot. He always seemed like the lighthouse guiding the ships through the fog. Her fog was the death of her father and the organization. Really well written with a very bittersweet twist. I hope there is more to this story but I know it will probably end as quickly as it began.
To be honest, i love this series more than Squid Game. It's a great movie with heart pumping action and full of emotions. Han So Hee acting was spectacular and a huge evolution from her previous works. From a timid girl of Nevertheless turns into a Badass chic of My Name! Really wishing for season 2 though it is impossible. But who knows.😊

To op squid games and my name are definitely my two most faves among the dramas I've watched (altho i haven't watched much) but imo both dramas potrayed the emotions very well. Bcz i felt the emotion in both series and almost cried in both series. Literally my most faves actors are from these two series now😭

Park Hee Soon is the best thing I watched this year! I have no words for him... a truly amazing actor and person. Btw He and Sohee look so close! I guess He gave her a lot of support like a father .... She probably had a hard time while shooting it but HeeSoon was very supportive of her 😍

외국 여배우말고 한국 여배우중에 이런 강도 높은 액션씬을 소화한 여배우가 있을줄몰랐어요. 드라마에서 예쁜 모습만 보다가 화장끼없는 거친 캐릭터로 연기의 펙트럼을 넓힌것을 축하하고, 개인적으론 한소희라는 배우를 다시 한번 보게됐습니다. 다른 조연분들의 연기도 인상깊었어요. 이름까지 찾아보게 되더라구요. 고생한 흔적들이 많이 보였고, 흥하시길 바랍니다. 원래 이런 피가 낭자한 잔인한 영화는 아예 안보는데, 주연 조연할것없는 연기력에 빠져서 스킵하며 끝까지 봤습니다. 너무 좋았어요.

I love that the writer decided not to put name tags on emotions and emphasize more on actions for showing emotions more than words. That made the drama even more realistic and touching. The casting was perfect, the directing, the writing, the visuals, so perfect. This made me even more proud as a kdrama fan.

사실 여자 주인공 내세운 액션 누와르 작품들 보면 액션신이 약간 떨어지는 경우가 많은데 한국 작품에서 여자 배우 액션신으로는 거의 탑인 작품인 듯.

저는 마지막 화 때 지우가 무진한테 필도는 내 아픔을 알아주고 유일하게 기댈 줄 사람이라고 했을 때 상처 받은(?) 그 눈빛이 아직도 기억 남아요

@@flower5958 크 완전 동감이예요! 무진한테 완전 빠져서 몇일째 허우적 거리고 있는데, 처음에 데리고왔을땐 이 아이가 어느정도 까지 성장할것인가 테스트를 했다면. 시간이 지날수록 지우가 안식처처럼 느껴지고 (아프다하고 말하는장면) 그누구에게도 뺏기고 싶지않은 맘이 드러났어요. 결국 지우손에 죽으려고 했던것도 알겠고 (마지막에 빈총 겨눌때 지우를 겨눈게 아니고 살짝 비켜져서 방아쇠 당김) 그로인해 죄책감도 덜고 용서도 받고싶어한것 같았어요. 지우를 친구의딸 그 이상으로 생각했고 뭔가 더 애뜻하게 좋아하는것 같았어요. 뭐.. 여자로써 좋아하면 더좋고 ㅋㅋㅋ(길바닥에서 구해주는 순간부터 그애목숨은 내꺼였어!) 이것도 지우 넌내꺼 ㅋㅋ 도망갈수없어 ~ 배신하지마 ~ 후훗 😎

어..그냥 한마디로 최고였어요...처음에는 결말이 너무 허무하고 아쉬웠는데 몇번에 걸쳐서 보다보니깐 나중에는 결말이 어떤얘기를 하고있는지 알것같아서 이해가 되더라구요. 그리고 특히 한소희 배우님 액션씬들이 정말 생생하고 집중하게 만드는 장면들이 많았어서 더 재밌었던것같아요! 최근에 넷플릭스에서 본것들중에 가장 흥미롭고 재밌었어요!!

Choi mujin and jiwoo’s chemistry is so astronomical. It’s like all they have to do is talk to each other and look at each other and you can literally feel there chemistry. It’s so odd how they had so much chemistry bc of the age difference but it matches so well.
이런 비하인드 스토리 및 인터뷰 하는건 굉장히 좋은 컨텐츠 인거 같아요. 그리고 킹덤도 시즌2에 외전까지 나왔으니까 다른 작품들도 2,3까지 나와서 우리도 워킹데드나 왕좌의 게임처럼 시즌제도 성공하는걸 보여줍시다
진실을 마주한 지우가 오열하는 씬은 정말 놀랐어요… 보통은 보면서 같이 우는데 그 씬 볼때는 눈물도 안나오고 말도 안나오고 그냥 소름만 돋았습니다.. 살면서 한번도 느껴보지 못한 감정이기때문에 어떤 고통일지 상상 조차도 안되더군요.. 그 감정을 소름돋게 잘 표현하신 한소희 배우님이 진짜 대단하다는 생각도 들구요..🥺

It was amazing of Han So Hee to do the action scenes by herself and not using the stuntman. Every scenes of her just make me cry out or even inside, it must have been so tough filming this but she just nailed it. Love you from this drama Han So Hee 💘✨🌈

i enjoyed Pildo's relationship with Jiwoo even though there wasn't a lot. He always seemed like the lighthouse guiding the ships through the fog. Her fog was the death of her father and the organization. Really well written with a very bittersweet twist. I hope there is more to this story but I know it will probably end as quickly as it began.

To be honest, i love this series more than Squid Game. It's a great movie with heart pumping action and full of emotions. Han So Hee acting was spectacular and a huge evolution from her previous works. From a timid girl of Nevertheless turns into a Badass chic of My Name! Really wishing for season 2 though it is impossible. But who knows.😊
She was also in "The World Of The Married" she was amazing ! She made you wanna💣💥

To op squid games and my name are definitely my two most faves among the dramas I've watched (altho i haven't watched much) but imo both dramas potrayed the emotions very well. Bcz i felt the emotion in both series and almost cried in both series. Literally my most faves actors are from these two series now😭

이게 진짜 쓰디쓴 복수의 맛 느와르 장르로 잘표현되서 좋았어요. 여러캐릭터들의 복합적인 감정씬들도 좋았고, 액션씬들과 어쩔수없는 긴박한 상황등 설정이 잘잡혀있으니까. 몰입이안될수가 없더라구요.
