Thank you so much for the Prinz Eugen video, Aaron! 🤩 She's such a beauty and one of my favourite German WW2 ships. Not just because of the battle of the Denmark straight. Prinz Eugen was never seriously damaged during the war. That's why she was called "the lucky prince" in Germany. She was the only German capital ship that survived the war. After WW2 the US captured her and took her to the Bikini atoll where she even survived two atomic bomb tests. When she was removed from the test site, a tropical storm finally sunk her near a Pacific island. The wreck is still there and you can even see it with Google maps! After several years one propeller was recovered and brought back to Germany. Today you can see it (and I already did) in front of the German Navy Memorial at the city of Laboe. I think the best way to describe Eugen is this; She’s powerfully underpowered. She’s definitely been power crept but sometimes she can be surprisingly powerful when the chance arises.

@@whereruaaron Oh Totally!!! A tip with German Cruisers- Depending on your build, you can get either GOD TIER Sonar, or Balti Levels of Penetration. For Penetrate build, Run Azur Lane Hipper, with inspirations Francesco Mimbelli (To make that reload more bearable) and Nikolay Von Essen to lessen Ricochets. The rest will do itself. If you want the Super Sonar, run Azur Lane Roon, with AL Scharnhorst and Yamamoto. Roon will boost your Sonar to terrifying levels of Torp spotting, Extend duration, and extra charge.
One of my favorite ships, i use AZ hipper, reduced incoming damage, great fun, also 8km torps are way better than hippers 6km and makes up for slower reload. GG
Hipper has better torp protection armor, i like the hipper more as Support and Eugen with the reload booster as brawl cruiser with secondary build.. makes a lot of fun
I think it’s about time they released these older tier VII ships for either doubloons or even heaven forbid a bureau ship. You don’t see this great ship very often.
Im sure eugan is more of Large Crusier or a battle cruiser. Cruiser guns but battleship type armor Kinda the same stick with kronshtadt and Azuma but smaller guns
I love playing this ship for historical value plus its premium and I use rigarwald. I put some into reload and some Into turret speed or rudder depending on the build
I would highly recommend using epic range mod on siegfried and and von esson and mimbeli for inspiration .I had way better rng on siegfried the accuracy felt way better and von esson helped the ap angles
Moral of the story: Teammates aren't always scrubs. There are rare instances where they are doing better than you think. Secondary moral: Had the red Kleber contested or taken a cap in the last 5 minutes of the game, this game doesn't make CZcams. Tertiary moral: Always look at the minimap when complaining about broken and overpowered divisions.

Prinz Eugen was my 1st GXP ship. She's a good cruiser despite being a bit worst than her sister ship. Great credit earner cuz Tier 7 premium 🎉

I know ppl say ppl say hipper has 1 second reload better but I like prinz more it looks nicer and has reload booster for other fun builds
