Romeo And Juliet Online - Live Performance at ESADIB, Palma

  • In March 2024, students from L'Escola Superior d'Art Dramàtic de les Illes Balears (ESADIB) and the BA Acting Stage and Screen course at Coventry university rehearsed an abridged version of Romeo and Juliet in both English and Catalan.
    They spent two weeks online using the Immersive Telepresence in Theatre system (telepresenceintheatre.coventr...) before spending five days live in ESADIB, Palma, putting the finishing touches to the performance.
    This project is an experiment in transnational rehearsal and education.
