Thanks for posting. What it lacks in nearness to stage it makes up for in audio and in being a good document of the audience experience as it actually realistically is. Also seems like a weird dynamic...the music is genre-defying but generally ultra-chill, yet you can see many in the audience TRYING to make it into a more active thing like they were the B-52's or something. Maybe they need to hand out pot brownies an hour before the show to anyone under 35. The old geezers would know to just sit and absorb.
My Friend Goo I can see what ur saying about the crowd. I actually came from VA solo just to see khruangbin. what I visioned was just everyone absorbing and taking it in instead of trying to create the “active experience” you’re talking about. Because yes, they are super slow flow vibe masters 😂 However when I finally reached the act I didn’t mind, it all hit me so hard because I created this mission to see them and come so far away from home and having the moments of “holy shit I actually made it” I wasn’t expecting to dance as much but the fluctuation of tempos had me swaying in the wind to just dancing like a goof with all the other super fans I had met waiting for them to step on that stage. So I guess maybe some people had forced their energy but shit I could not help my self. The band I came many miles to see is playing right for me just a few feet away. And btw Laura is so sexier in person believe it or not. Holy shit. Excuse me for assuming u weren’t and correct me if I’m wrong but if u were there u would understand my friend. And if you haven’t seen them live yet... go do it. Oh yes indeed u must.
