  • Ravenseat Farm has been hit by back to back storms. First, there was torrential rain and winds with Storm Ciara. Severe floods and winds destroyed various farm equipment. It was followed by Storm Dennis and Storm Jorge a week later, which battered the UK and the farmland. Watch Our Yorkshire Farm and see how the Yorkshire Farm family deal with the change in weather conditions.

    How resourceful this family is . Children well spoken and polite. You don’t need pots of money to be a decent human being.

      I agree! However I don’t think this family is hurting for money. I loved how they thanked their mom for allowing them to get out and play. 😍🥰

    I was born and raised in Yorkshire and love it but the weather can be so bleak and harsh. It’s also unbelievably beautiful.

    This makes me miss the farm I grew up on. It certainly wasn’t this vast or beautiful scenery wise, it was flat, but fields stretched out for miles & sunrises / sunsets were beautiful. It’s not until you aren’t in that environment any more that you truly appreciate what you had.
    I’m glad all are safe & well, extreme weathers for farmers are always such a worry.
    The kids seemed to be making the most of the weather though! 🥰 x

    I'm going assume they are Scottish blackface sheep probably the toughest breed there is.

    • @wangdangdoodie
      @wangdangdoodie Před 3 lety

      They are Swaledales, related to the Scottish Blackface and both descended from the older Linton. Sadly, the wool of both is very coarse and worth very little, though their meat is regarded as among the finest.

    Much of what I saw here, and much, much worse, wouldn't be out of place for most of the year in northern Scotland or in parts of Northern Ireland, but ee-bah-gum, it's about Yorkshire and England so it has got to be more important.
