God I can’t believe this was over 10 years ago. Everyone looked so fresh and young and in the middle of their primes. Such a fun time, PRIDE fighters flourishing and still delivering in their post-PRIDE fights (my god I was a Shogun fan and he was still amazing here), the guys from the OG TUF were in their primes of their UFC careers, Anderson Silva cemented his unbeatable, matrix-like aura and had his biggest stakes wins, Brock Lesnar’s presence was still looming. Jon jones’ momentum was getting started - Silva was the GOAT but you just felt this limitless ceiling that Jones had. We had the 3 big GOATS roaming (GSP and Silva were established and in their primes while Jones was rising quick). HW division seemed terrifying (damn tho was sad to see Cro Cop’s demise). Hell, Randy couture was still around, Alistair seemed terrifying, Dos Santos and Velasquez were killing it and rising. Travis Browne and Stefan Struve made us scared of their athleticism and size. Mark hunt had his immortal power and we still had Brock around (too bad we didn’t have Shane Darwin still around). Roy Nelson was fun af! From this point on post-stagnant-Tim Sylvia and Couture and mir UFC HW division had brought in athletic freak monsters that make us rethink what HW’s can do and look like and has been this way ever since. Truly starting from this era we saw Uriah was still doing well! Nick Diaz was in his prime and fighting alongside his much younger and lesser-known (at the time lol) little bro Nate Diaz (who was better at media than his big bro) Just felt like we had gotten clear out of the dark ages of MMA and the UFC and we started seeing the transition to true, true talent and athletes and future superstars coming in, but still had these heroes from yesteryear good enough to hang around. Just the most fun time. I think we made the complete transition to new age of heroes where we saw GSP retire formally and fall closer and closer to losing to new crop of welterweights and Silva losing to Weidman around 2014-2015, coincidentally when Conor took over. But around 2010-2011 was a time where I felt like everyone in MMA got a piece of the pie. If I’m not mistaken even Royce came back around this time to get in a few fights (maybe that was 2008 actually with Hughes). Just felt like old guys and new guys both made a name for themselves because the UFC hit a peak in popularity where both prior and new eras helped new fans to get invested into the UFC and MMA simultaneously.
I like how you are diversifying up the content with the fighters and years. They used to put out UFC Best Of DVDs every year and i dont think they do them anymore but i had all of them. This is exactly what I love to watch.
WRONG. He was the effective champ from 2011-2020--let's be real, DC was never the best at 205--but that reign included 3 controversial decision wins: Gus I, Santos, & Reyes. According to MMADecisions, 76% of fans thought Reyes beat Jones, 54% thought Santos beat Jones, and only 49% of fans thought Jones beat Gus (5% Draw). Don't let the UFC hype machine obscure the truth for you.
Don’t really care what anyone thinks, this was the golden age of the UFC. Perhaps 2010-2015 in general but like, yeah man.. these years were the absolute best.
@17:13 if you look when herb stepped in zombie should have had a 5 second, maybe 6 but I'm saying 5 second knockout which would have given him the record. They put it down as 8 seconds officially
damn for some strange reason i feel now disclaimer i know this is never happening or realistic but if there one person i could see catching khabib wouldve been melvin
That "era" was plagued by felonies, hard drug abuse, beating woman, injuring children, and using steriods to cheat in the ring. The scumbag Jon Con Jones is no goat, by a long shot.
@Sukhdev R34 Its the other way around. You are most likely a bot, but if you are a genuine person, and can look yourself in the mirror and say that a drug addict, woman beater, felon, and steriod cheat, is the GOAT, you have something seriously wrong with your head.
Brian Stann was a warrior and a great commentator. Wish he was still with the UFC.
Yeah he was really good on the commentary side, Anik and Kenflo were my favorite duo in the booth

The greatest back take ever when Renan hit that on Brad
Please keep this series going absolutely love the nostalgia GOAT larone 👊

Literally everything happened this year.
Oh the nostalgia is making me all warm and fuzzy. 2011 was a great year!
And here begins Jon's reign as champion for the next 12 years, 15-0 in title fights.
That's why he's the goat

With the help of roids and eye pokes
@@iorilamia bro have you seen gane..he's a more dirty fighter than Jon lol..casual
His reign as most roided and best woman beater.

Its crazy how long Jim Miller was fighting while he was unaware of having Lyme Disease! 😮😳
Ikr... Been a fan of Jim for so long 👊
Still can’t believe Schaub caught Mirko
bro you're going off. On an absolute tear of videos
Thanks for compiling all the best of 2011, if I could go back in time it would be 2010-2011 for sure
it is all over.. it is all over.. it is... I don't miss that phrase. Now it's the joe rogan yell. Which can be just as bad!
And DC being goofy.
I personally miss Goldie
@17:13 if you look when herb stepped in zombie should have had a 5 second, maybe 6 but I'm saying 5 second knockout which would have given him the record. They put it down as 8 seconds officially
i don’t get why they do that it makes zero sense
Jim Miller is a legend, still going strong
Hendo vs Shogun, the fight that got me into MMA
These have been very fun to watch your a legend Larone
Good stuff man sick highlights🔥
Been an amazing journey watching this from 07 to current day still watching
Larone you are by far UFC's greatest asset
There are plenty of great knockouts i've never seen. That's why I subscribed! My man!
Rip rumble
Stann, Condit, Diaz, Swanson were some of the most entertaining fights of this entire era
Don’t forget MACHIDA … the dragon
Rumble at 170 😮, made brennamen look 2/3 weight classes below, massive. Rip 🙏
Keep em coming plz
This uploads are by far the best thing happening on my social media accounts
Thiago the pitbull alves was a beast ashame casuals don't know some of these guys man
One of my all time favorites
Yet another video where I’m like “Damn. What a year” 👏🏽
Jesus. Time flies man.

mentally... im still here
Damn I miss Mark Hunt...
God I miss old UFC
can you do a burns and khamzat video fw the videos too bro
Missed out on JDS’ KO on Cain.
I do love these year by year videos though!
Man the Spaniard ate that entire leg kick. You forget how violent that shit was. How Johnson ever made 170 is beyond me.
If the UFC shows a knockout replay, and Rogan doesn’t say “Boom” “on the button” …did it really happen?
Or “he tagged him” when it’s live
Not gonna lie, I was so happy for Tito when he got that win over Bader.
Time stops for no one…… Except Herb Dean.
sure as fuck explains his slowness in recent (last 5 ) years hahaha
The fact that almost none of these guys are still fighting is a reminder of how many dangerous men are walking around out in the world.
DICEY DICEEEEEYYYY @ 2:09 😅
Goat year.
Joe lauzon Vs Melvin, I remember this, Joe is the true savage
Man why do I have to open this to my favorite fighter getting knocked out :(
just swarmeed on emm - Bro Jogan
I'll never forget how god damn annoying Tito was after getting that lucky ass win over Bader.
7:20 Dana went from being a ref to be the president of Ufc. What a chad
18:49 okey baby you are alive
2011 is basically the Jon Jones era. my goodness me, what a time to witness this era of UFC.
Victor 😂 punches behind the neck and thanks Jesus lol😂
Man crazy to think Brenden actually knocked out mirco
5:23 man bro almost broke his shit actually made me scared for a sec
🔥
RIP Rumble Johnson.
my dog got da best ufc channel on utube shotout to MFIN LARONE
my personal favourite year. casuals will never kno
How didi i miss Leben beating Wanderlei🤦🏻♂️🤣
omg every year ez
TRT Vítor: beats a man to the shadow realm
Also TRT Vítor: i wanna thank Jesus Christ
God I miss these days and I especially miss the PRIDE days of fighting
Jon says he can do all things through Christ, unfortunately he cant bring himself to be a decent human being.
Cro Cop got knocked out by Schuab and Roy Nelson. That's funny.
Is it only me, or is there the big feeling that Dana will retire this or next year?
damn for some strange reason i feel now disclaimer i know this is never happening or realistic but if there one person i could see catching khabib wouldve been melvin
I hate seeing Cro Crop getting KOed, especially by that loser Schaub
Man, Brendan was a beast back then 👊
Ferguson? TUF final fight?
Oh this is the year where we witnessed the m***** of machida
There were Wwaaaay less Steroids in 2011 than 2010 🤦🏽♂️
People need to use more knees.
Not easy, especially since a lot of people have a minimal height advantage over the people they fight
Somebody said mark hunt isn’t confident in his power he’s just too lazy to do ground and pound
Context or not. I love seeing rampage get worked. One of my most favorite fighters to see get their mouths shut! 🤣🤙😎
The Era of the GOAT jon jones begin and still running to this day

Jon jones is the best
Best at beating woman and cheating in the ring.
@@chicog6295 If you can't see Jones is the GOAT then there's something wrong with you. He's a special fighter.

jon should have a tattoo that reads peds 3:16
As if the entire UFC wasn’t/isn’t using peds get real
@@MoSuli96if they do, then they don’t get caught. Unless they’re Anderson Silva
@@MoSuli96 His entire career is in question, for PED use. He got caught multiple times.
Jon should add a tattoo of tally marks, for how many times he beat his wife 😂

larone, call him the king of best moments like jon bones jones
No can defend xD
Back when Anderson was at peak God form and JBJ was just a baby.
I didn’t know there was a woman referee.😮
Kim Winslow was insanely bad at her job. Real bad refs back then.
For like 4 fights I thought this was all one card lol
Ufc has came a longway there were some savage fighters as well as refs lol some fights were late stoppages
00:40 And Still talking that same bullshit 😂
2:08 worst moment of all time
