Just to add for HoYeon Jung's look, she had a matching embellished ribbon at the end of her braid, called Daeng-gi, which is a traditional hair ribbon in Korea that she specifically requested Nicolas Ghesquière to make for this outfit. A nod to her Korean culture on international stage, which is beautiful 🤌

Unmentioned in the video but about ho yeon jungs look: her hair was braided in a "daeng-gi" which is the traditional Korean way to do hair for unmarried women. And it usually incorporates a decorative ribbon to secure the ends of the braid, which louis vuitton made to match the texture of the dress. So I think that was a nice touch

Gaga's dress to me is a beautiful nod to how she presents herself in this area of her life (her acting career), but allowing her true self to always shine through with the sparkly piece peeking out from beneath the silky sheath.

23:36 Laverne's dress appears to have a lot of South Asian influence. The embroidery along her arms and décolletage looks a lot like the typical patterns you might find on shalwar kameez (arms and such). The black band I immediately thought was a scarf ("dupatta" "orna") that's typically draped around the neck.
Yeah, the reference is pretty obvious to those familiar with the Indian subcontinent.

Really, I thought he looked like he was in his daddy's jacket when he was 8. The quality of the sewing didn't match the quality of sewing of the collar making it look like an after thought. I was disappointed and distracted by it.

even after watching so many hautelemode videos i never get tired of hearing about the current and past history and background and whatnot about fashion. thank you so much for entertaining and educating dumb dumb me :) tho tbh i think i know a little bit more abt dior than the average perfume buyer hehe ( perfumes are the only interaction i have irl with high fashion brands lol). for a while now this is one of the few non-music related channels i sub to and stay interested in. hope u can keep going for a long time
