I wear pixie and bob wigs in various colors. When some one asks we where I get my “hair” done or compliments in my “hair” tell them it is a wig. Often the person will ask where I got it and I refer them to Mimi’s.

Keri, you look great in Brianna! Missy, is the Seashell Blonde on Alva more yellow than Champagne? I have Silverstone and thinking of adding either Moonstone or Champagne. I need cool colors.
No tip but I would love to see more color comparsions between brands which would really help in ordering, save mistakes and help take advantage of those great sales. One I am most interested in is comparsions between RW SS Hazlenut and GLazed Hazlenut and colors that are close in Tressalure, Belltress, Ellen Wille, and any of the other brands

QUESTION: Dry Shampoo for decreasing the shine on a synthetic wig - can you recommend a brand? Thanks - I’ll be watching and enjoying seeing new options.

Hello, can we please see Raquel Welch, stop traffic in color SS23/61?
I wear Ellen Willie's Echo in Safran Red Rooted. I don't see it on your site. Next week could you show the Ellen Willie wig Sunset in Safran rooted? I love safran red rooted because it is a color that people stop me and say how beautiful it is. This makes me feel so good since I have had alopecia since I was a teen and people would stop me and make fun of me.
I wear short pixies. I just got Out of Door by Gabor. I like the front, but the short back is way to flat for my tastes. I am looking for a tiny 3/8" curling iron to use on the short back hair that of course, has temperature control and the lowest setting I've seen is 200 degrees on Amazon. Do you all have any suggestions for tiny curling iron barrels for pixie heat tolerant styles? Also, is it all right to use the Jon Renau #3 Heat treat Thermal Spray for heat resistant fibers instead of water? Short of sewing a shoulder pad to make the style stick out in the back, I need to get rid of the flat back! Thanks in advance!
That is really a tough one Judy. Our best suggestion is try to get texture and lift with products instead of a curling iron. That wig is so short, it would be a challenge to curl. Try some Wig Wax or Jon Renau Piece Out Cream to give it lift and then finish it off with some hair spray to hold it. Hope it works out for you!
How do you find a salon that will style a wig you didn't buy from them
Looking for recommendations to go a tad warmer/more natural than the beautiful shaded biscuit. Suggestions?
It depends on the style and brand. There are definitely some options!
I have the wig Liana in the orchid collection in the color walnut. It is a reg synthetic wig with a basic cap. I don't mind permatease, generally speaking but this wig has soooo much right at the part line. Literally looks like a birds nest. How can I make this look better. It's a cute wig and I'd hate to not be able to wear it.
