- After a morning of bad weather and no luck, I decided to go back out and chase lake st clair musky in the kayak. it was the BEST two hours of musky fishing I've EVER had. The weather was a little dangerous... and I was solo... but it was so worth it!

I used to fish with serious, highly motivated anglers. In that group, the highest praise anyone could say of another such angler was that he was "hard-core." I never expected to see a woman angler with that kind of drive to catch fish, but here you are: hard-core and just plain courageous.

Well that proves the theory the predators feed up when the weather is bad because they are not sure if and when they will be able to feed up again. Days like that I am home nice and snug and if I am caught out on the water in windy big waves I hide in sheltered coves. This is proof I need to venture out into big water. I primarily bass fish and assume they would be on the bite also in those conditions. I hope you rock them at your next tourney. You already earned the win in my book. I love your video’s so I can see and hear how your decision process works - Fish Brain!
Predator fish definitely relate to changes in barometric pressures and moon phases - these two hours were the perfect storm and I knew it would be ON

Kristine Fischer For sure, that lake can be brutal. I’ve helped rescue a couple fishing kayaks this year on LSC and they were out in conditions a lot better than what you dealt with.
Ugh scary. In all honesty I shouldn’t have been out.
I’m very experienced in big swells and weather like that, but even I was a little nervous rounding the point. There was one lone boat out there and they found me on IG and messaged me saying they about flipped rounding tht point, and they were very worried about me

I love musky fishing, but that is insane. I would not want to wrestle one in and out of a net from a kayak. Then throw in lake conditions & cold rain. That is hard core. I'll be in the truck drinking coffee. 😁

That was a amazing day we where the guys on the black ranger out there it was are best couple hours we ever had to we went 6 for 8 in two hours lost a GoPro but all worth it. Oh yeah and yes it was so scary getting around that point coming in. Cheers and nobody will ever know what the three of us experienced that afternoon

When me and my wife first started going out she used to come pike fishing and then we got married and she doesn’t fish now and says I’m cruel and heartless and I was ok with that all these years but I kinda feel on a bit of a downer after watching this 🙁

It’s amazing to me how slow these channels grow, she’s a great fisherman, multi species, wins tourneys, fishes in crazy weather...you’d think she’d get 1000 subs a day...but for whatever reason these channels just take time
I’ve been told If I wear less clothes or make sure I look pretty (hair down, makeup, etc) my channel would explode. I said, “nah. I’m good. I’ll just do me.” ;)

I have never been, I’ve heard the fish spread out and suspend there though and most guys troll for them to put fish in the boat?
Kristine Fischer true but there are several good points with weeds to cast on plus a lot of fish spawn in the fox river and they are caught casting there in the end of May and early June
