Thank you for this in depth tutorial. I have two Poshta Design kits to open and you have bolstered my confidence that I I CAN do them. All of your tips are extremely helpful to a newbie like me!
Thank you for the tips and tricks, Marilyn! I love felt stitching too. Yes you're right with the big box stores felt I have used them before and the die cut holes on the edges ripped. I like PTI and Benzie Designs felt. Those felts from Poshta are very pretty. Ohh the lint roller is a great idea. Looking forward to seeing your completed projects. Thanks again! ❤
Marilyn, Thank you for your input re: felts and die cutting felt.. It was quite useful. Hope you will show your finished hat and bunny in a future video!
Thanks Gigi. Hopefully I remember it's waiting. I am cleaning up and organizing my craftroom after moving some furniture out, so have to get that do e before I tackle any projects. It's a mess!
I have a hand crank big shot that I can not get it to cut the Poshta stitching dies I am trying to cut Poshta felt I have reached out to Poshta but have not gotten a response can you give me advice I’m very new to this kind of crafting do I need the metal plate?
Do you have a tabbed platform? Typically the metal shim is for detailed dies, which you shouldn't need to cut with. Sounds like you do need additional shims though for more pressure. Every machine is slightly different. Try adding a tab if you do have the tabbed platform. And do not use the magic mat when cutting felt. Use the plastic cutting plates.

Sizzix has felt packs too. I never checked the fiber content though. They work well with my art students.
I've not used their felt before. I'm pretty sure I have plenty in my stash for now.
This is very helpful. Thank youuuuuuuu

To see if it is wool..use a lighter..wool burns...the other melts...easy to be 100 percent sure

Lizzie Jones, the owner of Posta Design at one time was a designer at Papertrey Inc
I'm very much aware of that. I used to design for them after she left.
Does poshta design ever have sales and if so when? Thanks, Jana Jahn
I've not seen her have one. She hasn't been in business long though.
Where can I purchase the needle book dies?
Its an older die for Papertrey Ink. I don't know if they still have it available.
Links would be really nice
