    * You can add any light weight oil instead of Sunflower oil like Almond oil, Safflower Oil

    Can I leave out or substitute the Isopropyl Myristate? I’d like something natural. Thank you! Lovely video.

      Thankyou😀 yes there is no perfect substitute for that. If you don't have it, you can totally skip.

    Do we need preservatives in cleansing balms?

    • @dt564
      @dt564 Před rokem

      Yes because without it, it will go rancid/ be more prone to bacteria

    I fully melt cetyl alcohol n still grainy once the cleansing balm is made. Why using cleansing balm I can feel the Graininess.. Why.?
    What temp cetyl alcohol should be melted

    • @KraftBee
      @KraftBee  Před 2 lety +1

      Keep it in the double boiler for 15 to 20 minutes. Give it a quick mix once fully melted. Then pour in the container and keep it in the freezer for 5 minutes. You will be good to go😊 * the reason for your problem is different fatty acids solidify at different temperatures.

      If all ingredients have to kept in double boiler for 15-20 mts wont the sunflower n Castor oil lose its properties.

    Won't it melt after cooling?

  • @sunandasemwal6008
    @sunandasemwal6008 Před 2 lety +2

    why is it necessary to boil for 20 minutes?

    • @KraftBee
      @KraftBee  Před 2 lety

      It is not about the time. Few ingredients may take 20 minutes to melt down in double boiler. So it's a common advice. You may just keep it until everything is melted.
