      Me too! Just discovered Emma this year and I am regretting living under a rock since 2022 didn't even know that addicting voice talking about Negroni Sbagliato w/ Prosseco was Emma's! Hope they get to work on a movie or short film after filming for s3 HOTD like what Emma did last year with For People In Trouble.

      True haha I was sort of anticipating some chaotic fun from them but they're pretty good at hiding it the 2nd time around I guess

    It's not the acting that is bad, in fact it's great. It's the lack of action and the enormous amount of dialogs. For a show filled with dragons people expact more action, we've seen 2 rather small action scenes in 2 seasons. While GoT had action or unexpected twists in every episode. I surely hope season 3 will be better, but for now this show is, except for the acting, a big letdown.

      That’s not an issue, I cringe everytime I hear you guys just want so much action, especially with how rushed season 1 was, casting lots of actors only to barely use them. The issue is how they are writing the characters, toning down the fantasy, not developing relationships between the dragons and humans and also within the humans relationship. also not giving many of the other main characters their own plot. this is a game of thrones universe. They should be able tohandle this. Yeah more action is definitely needed but that’s not the main issue

    • @GiveonKing
      @GiveonKing Pƙed měsĂcem +19

      First 6 seasons of game of thrones especially first 5 had limited amount of action scenes. Infact it took around 17 episodes until we saw an action scene. Game of thrones season 7 and 8(also partly 6) had lots of action. To make up for the lack of strong writing and also to distract us from how empty the show felt of characters

      Action is an enhancer at best for me. Unless I know why there’s running/fighting etc, who’s involved, what’s at stake, how likely those involved are to win or lose and the consequences thereafter
 then I don’t much care, it’s empty spectacle. Without investment in the characters conversations are just as dull as combat for me. Pacing has been a minor quibble of mine in S2 but I love the characters and how they interact, even the ones I don’t like! So I’m fully on board.

      @@GiveonKing actually the very first scĂšne we got from GoT was an action scĂšne. Guys getting killed by the white walkers up north and one to flee.
      But let me refrase what i mean with action..
      For me it was the unexpected murders of popular cast members, the unobvious plottwists, 3 stories at once colliding in the end etc that made GoT a good show.
      There are hardly any suprises in HotD the dead that are there are rather obvious, the story is rather obvious and yeah, for a series made about a war with Dragons, i want to see just that.
      Ofc it can't be only that, but in the first 2 seasons it's hardly ever a thing.

    • @GiveonKing
      @GiveonKing Pƙed 29 dny +1

      @@MesaTheinsane that was a small scene short scene. Most of the battles were also shown off screen and yeah I agree the unexpected plot twists and multiple different stories being fleshed out to the point where when the characters meet, it feels like a universal cross over made game of thrones a great show. Seeing dany CONNECT with her dragons and seeing us connect with the characters was what made those twists and fights impactful because we were invested other than just seeing cool special effects. none of the dragons apart from seasmoke and vaghar have a true personality. It doesn’t feel like a man and his dog. Instead it feels like a man in an aquarium.
