  • From our project a number of years ago. Toton TMD to Crewe electric depot. We journey via Trent The Castle Donnington Branch, The North Staffs via Uttoxeter, Stoke and Kidsgrove to Crewe.

    Seems funny departing off the depot via the North yard arrival lines ! but makes sense now with no Sandiacre box to control movements.

    A good view of my childhood railway from Longton through Heron Cross and Fenton. A lot of changes, but to be expected. Fenton Station was a nice building, shame it's gone.

    It's sad to see stations opened back in 1848 only have bus shelters now. The station buildings should have been listed. Brilliant video of a quiet route.

    One very minor point. The caption at Stoke Junction says "joining the WCML" , Tha line through Stoke is not the WCML.

      It sure does from Trent East to Sheet Stores and From Stenson Jn to Crewe.

    at around 1:44:32 there are Tee shaped railside structures, are they lighting or something else?
