In this scenario you play as the Turks, and must conquer Anatolia from the Byzantines by capturing three towns, and only then assaulting the Byzantine Army. The captured towns will pay you tribute.... slowly...

I did it easy way by using trade carts and had much enough gold to trade it for other resources.
Something that I wish the developers could add in the future are more campaigns to play as the Chinese. Like some historical battles playing as the Jing standing your ground against the Mongols would be cool.
I would love a Chinese campaign. the only Chinese mission is the lake battle and i hate it the most! It’s gotta be the 3rd or 2nd toughest mission
You can mastapizza and take Galatia by using siege tower + 10 spearman or skirms inside while you take arrow fire from castles with 2 rams.

at 10:12 the "hole" in those palm trees seems to be fixed, if you dont know usualy theres an opening there in the classic

You should have used knights and cavaliers instead of light cavarly. But where you get all that gold to make them? Simple! You make a few tradecarts and trade with Pisidia, and over time, you will generate over 2k gold!
The Byzantine architecture previously being Middle Eastern in the original has been redesigned to make it look like the Mediterranean architecture same as the Italians and the Spanish.
Looking forward to seeing Bari 3rd scenario. Rebellion of melus.
I've done it on my own already. Nowhere near as bad as in HD :P

For me this didn't go that slow, at least at the end. Maybe because I set up a trade early on, giving me some better economy after conquering Galatia. And I also used rams to attack the Byzantine camp (AI going for the trebuchet while the rams, flanked by cavalry archers, take down the gate and the barracks).
I got 2 trebuchets at the beginning of this campaign. Didn't see you getting those. Probably just higher difficulty level.
galatia I did the seige tower + infantry doing a mad rush for the town center

Damn it. I played this today and didn't notice I got a uni. Not having ballistics meant my cav archers weren't as powerful as they could've been. Not to worry anyway. This was pretty easy.
I forgot magonels existed, really should have used them against that one saracen tower but I used skirmishers and micro
I'm yelling at the TV 4 letting the trebs be vulnerable and die. Do you know about hotkeys? Like #1 for melee 2-archers 3-seige
Also when those big armies attack I'm like go back to the friendly castle fire!!
does HCA have some hidden bonus over regular CA? 10 hp and +1 attacks does not seem worth it if you don't have a lot of them

I never had a treb! You don't get Imperial Age until after you conquer Galatia

3 years too late...but not making eco units out of your market seems bad...pop limit of 100...no army larger than 25...that's 75 trade carts giving you all the gold to do everything you want to do...
He's trying not to cheese how the mission is meant to be played, which Trade Carts do. Regardless, the way eco works here is unbearable.
