Titre prophétique a souhait en ce début d'année 1981, l'année ou le King a quitter ce coté de la vie.

Could've been a much better song with more verses....Taking nothing away from the harmonies....Quite LEGENDARY 👍 Released in 1981. The same year the Legendary King of Reggae, Bob Marley passed away. Any connection with the song??

@@MarcKlark Neither can I. But the white gentleman featuring in this video footage is legendary French musician Serge Gainsbourg who has acquainted with Bob Marley and collaborated Rita Marley and the I-Three... I might get something out from his biography or discography. I'll need to check on that

@@lawrencenjawe9875 Sege Gainsbourg went to Kingston in 1978 and hired the Revolutionnaries (Sly & Robbie's band) and the I-Threes. He recorded 2 lps with them. First was Aux Armes et Caetera (1979), wich contains under this name a reggae version of La Marseillaise, wich was a huge success and made quite a fuss in France and the second one was Mauvaises Nouvelles des Etoiles (1981). In between, a live double lp @ le Palce was released in 1980 with full band and The I-Threes. This lp covers most of both sudio lp and has some reggae version of a track written for Bardot in the 60s ans another track from his own bac catalogue. Side A of the live lp opens with an instrumental never released track played by The Revolutionnaries.
