I have 2 Hatsan Edges In .25cal and 2 Webley VMXs In .20 cal. My 2 Edges use the type 3 air pistons and the VMX are mechanical springs. Both of my Air pistons on the Edge died at about 4 years. Since the guns are mechanically identical, I think I will be putting springs in my Edges. From my experience they actually last longer and are for me at least less hold sensitive then the gas pistons. I do love my VMXs, mainly due to relatively low price and definitely because they are in .20cal. Which to me is by far my favorite caliber. They shoot hard, pretty flat. They are my "go to" airguns for woodchucks and raccoons out to 50 yards. They penetrate better then my Edge .25cals and group a little better. Most of my "magnum" break barrels 20+ fpe guns, just seem to hold sensitive and I have to remember the exact hold for each one. Which really isn't that much fun. The break barrels that have around 12-18 fpe are a lot more hold friendly which allows me to be more accurate. We here in the states still want the hardest shooting airgun possible, but seem to forget that there is a price to pay for that power and that is lack of accuracy, wear and tear and other negative aspects. With a good mil-dotted scope and knowing your range (and limitations) one doesn't need a so called "magnum" springer/air piston.

Hi, if the some parts failed, is it serviceable? Or spare parts are readily available like the piston? Thanks...
It's a glorified hatsan made in turkey with a webley logo on it. You will never run out of spare parts.

How many rounds before the break barrel rifle failed...
I always think like that my chinese riffle took about 2000 shots or round and it got failed
At that distance, you could use a spud gun
