Seriously though! I hate when parents compare their child or put their child down while complimenting others, it makes them feels so bad about themselves and insecure. You should support your kid and protect them not scream at them and act like you're losing something.

why do they get critiqued on the choreography rather than just the dancing itself. they dont make up the choreography. how was kalani supposed to change it and just kick the left leg up when it was choreographed for the right
Cheerleaduhh Love ya I was so confused on what she was even saying? was she saying her right leg should be just as flexible as her left? Because she did the extension at the beginning with her right leg and then the full back split, she had the right foot on the ground, which is still the same leg flexibility. When you do a full back split, you keep your most flexible foot on the ground and pull up the other leg. Either way, she didn’t show inflexibility on either side anywhere in this dance so I have no idea what Abby was talking about .

Normally you work with the choreographer and tell them what is comfortable and good for you when it comes to things like tricks and turns

@@JordanJSparks if you do a kick to the front with the right and a kick to the back on the left that means that the right is the good side it is basically a right split it is a little bit difficult to explain but if you imagine a split your good leg to the front is not your good leg to the back
Kalani went to Club Dance in Arizona, they pay crazy close attention to technique, there’s many insanely gorgeous dancers taught up there. Kalani’s tech def decreased during her time at the ALDC
i disagree. she didn't improve much at the ALDC, but she definitely didn't regress.
@@iminurwallspg13 She regressed a bit, her old dance teacher was even correcting her on things that she has never needed to be corrected on. Abby isn't fit to teach kids older than like 11-12
@@iminurwallspg13 she honestly did, Kalani even admitted it during an episode when her old teacher from club dance came and taught her a solo. (You could also just blame it on her getting older but technique didn’t seem as sharp and clean anymore) She still was amazing either way tho

If you guys didn’t watch the show before, ally has never took a ballet class until a little bit before they got on the show which is why she’s not as good as the other girls.

Maya Occomy What kind of dancer/young person who wants to be a Professional Dancer, never takes a Ballet Class? It’s the #1 class that teaches the technique that EVERY dancer needs. Her mom is at fault here.

Nobody knows how difficult it is to make your flexibility and technique on par with someone with higher quality training. Kalani's level requires years of extremely expensive and high quality training. Super proud of Ally for knowing that and remaining a boss!

Kalani’s technique is UNREALISTIC. I am absolutely wowed by her dancing.
Ally's Mom makes me so mad here. Ally had only had a couple of year experience and Kalani had since she was a toddler.
Of course I just watched a couple vlogs to catch up on Gianna (from AUDC), and a whole lot was scripted so I dk if Ally's Mom was really that way.
Some people that danced since they were toddlers aren’t as good, it depends on your dedication and passion for dance. Just because you parents throw you into ballet doesn’t mean you going to be amazing especially if dance isn’t your passion

Ally's mother made her daughter more nervous by shouting at her. It was as if winning the competition was more important for the mother than Ally. I feel so bad for her. She made things worse.
Dance is an art and it must come for within. How can the mother expect her daughter to do well by forcing her to dance technically

Ally's mom was honestly so toxic- she was so rude about Jojo, and kept yelling at her daughter and comparing instead of trying to encourage her.
