Z-Man Diezel MinnowZ rigged with Eye Strike Texas Eye Jig (Lure Review & Underwater Footage)

- In this video we take an in depth look at what I believe to be the best shallow water sightfishing bait combination for redfish. The Texas Eye Jig from Eye Strike Fishing paired with the four inch Diezel MinnowZ from from Z-Man does it all. We go over rigging and retrieve as well as take a look at some great underwater video of the bait in action to really understand how the bait reacts to different retrieves.

Used this rig for bass fishing yesterday and this combo produced much more fish due to the weedless design and great swimming action. 10/10 highly recommend.
Just ordered me some of these jig heads lastnight! I actually never seen them until I was looking around on tackle depot. I really love the look and the swing head they have I see these being great for many different styles of paddle tail baits but especially good with the diezel minnows! Thanks for the video tightlines

I have got to thank you for posting that video and turning me on to the z-man diezel minnow with the Texas Eye I watch this video about a month ago kept saying I want to try it I never did I finally tried it today November 24th 2020 the 2nd cast I hit a nice trout and caught 3 or 4 more after that I love it thank you

Great review man. You have a very informative channel. That Texas eye allows you to power fish and burn that paddle tail back in or you can finesse fish it. Definitely gonna be my go to. Got mine rigged on a 4” scented paddler in pearl. Keep up the awesome video sir. Tight lines

Jud - what weight do you prefer in shallower water? Fishing the marshes behind NTB and the New River - water usually less than 3 feet.
honestly it really depends on what time of retrieve you are wanting to achieve!

yes medium to burry that hook can be helpful! honestly though you can still get away with a medium light

It is a 4 inch and i change the weight of the jig depending upon how fast i want the sink rate and what depth I'm fishing

I thought this wud work well but Half the time the hook catches on my line after casting.
