Vs.1
When the night has fallen
And our smiles quickly fade
When the love we held so close
Was instantly torn away
When the lights are flashing
And the tears begin to fall
When we wait for all the sounds
To finally go away from us all
Pre-Chorus
But in the blink of an eye
Our hearts slowly died
As we felt our pulse
49 times
Chorus:
We will never hide, we will never run
Stand strong and always fight
Break free and always love
Don't lose sight of who we are
We will never break, we will never die
We were made for more than just tonight
Takes more than just a gun
More than you to tear us down
So let your colors fly free
We Are Forever strong
We are forever
Vs.2
When your dreams were quickly shattered
When you were not prepared to fight
When you were safe inside the shadows
And you were dancing through the night
When every moment feels like hours
And all the shots rang out again
When our lives are held for ransom
As he holds it in his hands
Pre-Chorus
And in the blink of an eye
Our hearts slowly died
As we felt our pulse
49 times
Chorus:
We will never hide, we will never run
Stand strong and always fight
Break free and always love
Don't lose sight of who we are
We will never break, we will never die
We were made for more than just tonight
Takes more than just a gun
More than you to tear us down
So let your colors fly free
We are forever strong
Orlando
We are, we are, Orlando
We are Orlando strong
So in the blink of an eye
Our hearts slowly died
As we felt our pulse

This is a tribute and dedication to the victims of the Orlando shooting on 6-12-16.
This is a song I wrote the day after the shooting in Orlando.
This video was the hardest music video I have ever shot in my entire life.
I had to keep stopping the taping because I kept crying.
Please, lets show love to all people and never forget who we are!
I hope this song written about the Pulse nightclub incident can touch lives and do some healing for the broken.

It's sickening how hate can divide love
It's inspiring how love can conquer hate
A little over a year ago, 49 members of my community died. At the time, I didn't accept my self for being pansexual but I've learned to love myself. Pray for the families and friends of the victims of the heartless attack🏳️🌈💖👭👬
emily pav it honestly hurts to know that people from our community died for loving someone and I was for the longest time ashamed for being bisexual but I’ve come to accept that I have people in my community and the whole lgbt 🏳️🌈 family who will love and accept me because I know my parents won’t I haven’t told them yet but they will know one day. You are beautiful and loved and I’m glad we can come together as a community and support and be there for one another and pay our respects to The Who died as a community and they will always be in our hearts 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈♥️
I didn’t realise that I was pansexual until recently but I will always accept people for who they are. We don’t choose our sexuality and it is so WRONG for people to be murdered for simply being themselves. I love being pansexual. 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
49 and 1. Rip the Sig, pop the Glock.
I don't really subscribe to a single lable. Pan makes most sense w/more femm/women preference. I believe sexuality is fluid. Love is love. Be YOU. So proud of our community.
Too bad only 49 Dems, Libs & Socialists were killed.... Hopefully, there will be plenty more shooting of the worthless scum in America.
Its almost been half a year and I still cry myself to sleep some nights because of this. I will never be able to deal with the fact that people are being bullied, killed, selfharm and commit suicide just because they want to be who they truly are and love who they truly love. I've been bullied myself, I've had one suicide attempt, been in psychiatry three times and have more scars than I could count. But Orlando showed me that I'm still lucky. Because at least I am still alive.
Thank you for this comment! I love you, I love everyone no matter what #polishlgtb 🇵🇱❤️🏳️🌈❤️🇺🇸
Cool
We love you🏳️🌈❤
This is beautiful! I had a simular experience. I had major social anxiety in the beguining of the school year, and constantly kept hurting myself because I thought I was doing something wrong. A few month later my 6 year old cousin died. After that, I tried to value my life then trying to take it away. I never realized it befor, but I think it was because I wasn't out of the closet, but after I realized that there was an LGBT community, and I came out as bi and gender fluid, I felt so much happier.
In the end of things will get better those scars don’t define you, you are beautiful 🏳️🌈
Why is this song not viral?! Oh my goodness, SO BEAUTIFUL! 😭❤️💛💚💙💜
Your song is a tremendous tribute to the fallen in Orlando - Love you guy!! My husband and I were the couple that sued the state of Florida and brought marriage equality to Florida on January 6th 2015, along with our friends Steve and Ozzie. We were so grateful to hear that many of the families of the wounded were able to get information because of their legal status (unfortunately some were not) and that many of the fallen's families were also able to get information because of their legal status. Now is not the time for tears, we have shed far too many, now is the time to hit back and hit back hard on the bureaucrats that have made this atrocity possible. We MUST change, and in a way that protects us from these kinds of hateful, mentally deranged individuals.
They were just Dems, Libs & Socialists
4 Years on...but Pulse we will always remember ❤️🏳️🌈
This deserves so many more views
I agree
Yes it does.
Yes!...❤️🙏
I'm a straight man, and I have to say this song is a real fitting tribute to the Pulse 49 taken from us all. We need to learn from this and love each other, no matter the ethnic or religious group, or gender orientation. I still stand with the citizens of Orlando as they try to heal from this attack on humanity at large.
I run a dance studio in Australia and I would love to use your song to do a tribute dance to the victims of the Orlando attack. Even halfway around the world we stand with you and send our love
Do it!!! ❤️❤️❤️
+Brandon Parsons we will 💞 thank you for making such a beautiful song to inspire us
+KSA CQ please send me the link to that when you do it!! ❤️❤️

Brandon Parsons thank you so much 😭😭💔💛💚💙💜💗💗💗💗
Karynna Rios I’m very sorry for your loss, I hope you find happiness after the loss of a loved one.
I am so sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to you and your family!
Karynna Rios I stand with you May your beautiful aunt rest in peace
Almost 6 years ago since this tragedy…my heart still hurts when I think about it…
Here we are June 2021 and I’m watching this heading to the mountains with family crying my eyes out… this breaks my heart but I know the lgbtq will stand strong and more powerful than anything! Love u all ❤️🌈
My sister and her friends were at pulse the night the shooting happened. They made it out but I'm so touched by this event, I almost lost someone I love more than my own life. She just happened to be in the right part of the bar to get out. I still come back to these tribute videos bc they mean so much to me. im not part of the community in the sense that I am LGBT, but as an ally. I always was, but I'm forever changed by this as we're so many families. Thank you for your beautiful tribute. I cried.

I usually never comment on videos, however, I must comment on this one. I am a Florida native and have been to Orlando to visit and lived there. I can tell you that the LGBTQ community is one of the strongest in Orlando than anywhere that I have been. I have to commend Brandon Parsons on this song and video. I actually cried from the very start to the very end. My heart is broken to think that someone could take our brothers and sisters from us in such a senseless act, but we know that they are now in a better place and they will forever watch over us. May God accept them into this arms and shelter them forever. As John 3:16 says "You shall not perish but have everlasting life". We will remember these 49 angels and will never forget them.
Wow. Thank you so much for this post. This was the reason I made this song. Thank you for your heart of love.
Brandon you are truly an angel of God. I have now listened to this song over and over, I have even shared it with my friends on FaceBook and each of them have commented they could not keep a dry eye. Again, you are an angel of God. Thank you! May God bless you and God Bless our brothers and sisters in his arms now and those fighting to make it through this tragedy.
Brandon do you mind if we place this video on our website to bring attention to it and the lost loved ones? We have a page up already for the Orlando victims, but we want to make sure people understand that this was so horrific, but we will remain strong and we will stand tall with everyone, no matter their ideologies, religions, skin colors, etc. I await your permission.
+Chad Bruce yes! Please share as much as you want. Your comments made my night. And I'm so blessed to be apart of the healing of anyone. Love to you
Brandon thank you. It has been placed on our website. It is the landing page on our website, so we hope that people will click the video and take a moment of their day to listen to the powerful words of this song. Again, you are an angel of God with your talent and voice. Much love to you Brandon!
You might not have shot the gun
But you protested against gay rights
You taught your children it's a sin
You might not have been the gunman
But you fueled the culture that made him
You were there bullets in his gun
We've never met. Probably never will. I've never heard you perform. Until today, well actually two days ago, but, not sure my message got to you on facebook. And felt the need to find you, somewhere, somehow, and tell you how your performance of Forty-Nine Times moved me. The beauty in the lyrics. The soul. The love. The emotion. Felt in every word. Every phrase. Was astounding. I can't understand why I hadn't seen the video or heard the song before today. Melissa Ethridge, Eli Lieb, and Broadway for Orlando, were all over. The words in this song. Man. Brandon. You're a gift. True gift. Just amazing. Beautiful stuff. Thought you should know. Love and healing my friend.
Thank you so much for this! This made my night. I pray for healing everywhere
+Brandon Parsons you are so amazing. What has this world become? What is this world becoming? We just have to support the family's of those who lost their life.
This song is our hearts and souls because we are so close... I did lose two friends, and it hurts me every day. But I think you should know that you have helped us become even stronger. Thank you so much for this. In honor of our community I have literally listened to this song for every heart lost. I truly look up to you and we are always FAMILY.
My heart is with you always.
Brandon Parsons your song is so beautiful and heart touching it makes me so sad to think about this😥
booooo
Jbee Sweeper ok and? If you wanna be a hater then go ahead
Mustache Stadium "we are forever" keep love for the darkest hearts. Sounds like they need it most. Stay STRONG!!
Stunning. Just gorgeous. An incredible tribute to the LGBTQ community: their grief, their struggle, and their strength. Standing with you, united.
very nice song. I can't stop replay it.🌈
same and is such beautiful tribute
this song is real and tearfull
same
@jay Quan before you put your stupid shit on this beautiful beautiful song and tribute. How bout you get that grammar correct if your gonna call something out make sure you know how to spell because like your comment you sound like an idiot....
Jay Quan People like you are the reason lgbtq+ people have problems in life. We lost 49 brothers and sisters. And you have enough nerve to come bringing hate to a place of peace and grief. You should reavaluate your life if you think making jokes about something so serious is funny. So back the hell off and let people live they're own lives!
Ok yeah going from Pulse by Eli Lieb and Brandon Skies to this put me into an emotional wreck. God when I found out I seriously questioned why humanity was so freaking cruel to one another...
My thoughts exactly.
worldhasbeencorrupted what would you do if you there when that happened i bet you would be scared as hell this world is basically fucked up and it need to end
Luna Crow Those two songs were the songs I listened to on repeat while crying my eyes out when this happened. They are so powerful and speak volumes.
Religion mostly, it divides more than it unites
That was beautiful, thank you. So emotional. My husbands best friends brother, Antonio (Tony) Brown was one of the 49 lost that day. :(
I am so sorry he was lost :( my heart hurts so much for every person lost in this horrible event. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
My deepest condolences my heart is broken for all who lost their lives....
I am sorry Serina :( Our community is there for him in this time of sadness. Please tell him that!! #Pulse #OrlandoStrong #OrlandoUnited
I thought it was 50 who were killed, didn't know it was 49.
+Mike Proctor the 50th person was the shooter himself.
Making Orlando proud! My heart breaks for Pulse! I had many friends there that night and luckily my friends survived, but they knew many that were lost. I am a member of the gay community and I am still trying to find healing and force myself to keep going. :(
I'm from the LGBT community here in Minnesota
4 years have passed and I still can't watch this without crying.
Same here
can't believe it's been four years already.. time flies 💔
even now this song is still a very heartfelt and heartbreaking song. #orlandostrong ♡
WE STILL REMEMBER THEM AND HONOR THEM !
it's been 4 years sir and why you are not a household name still astonishes me but you will forever be loved in my house, as will the victims
This a a beautiful way to remember the 49 people that we lost on June 12th. Thank you for sharing you gift 💙
I live ten minutes from the Pulse Club and knew someone who did not make it. Well done!
so upsetting but we'll all get through it, still the scars hurt us we will always remember those who perished and stand by those who were injured
My boyfriend had a friend that was in there and didn't make it out!
Justin Metcalfe :Good.
Jay Quan excuse me can you please come up with an actual conclusion on your shit conspiracy I don't give 2 shits on what you have to say parents are grieving and all you can say is that this is fake can you clarify your excuse give me details about the so called actors skiers Murray the youngest had a full life ahead of her she was 18 now give me there phone numbers give me there address if you know the "actors"
Imperium Europa fuck you
I cried so much listening to this and thinking of those soul's lost in such a horrible manner. The fear they must had , the pain of a bullet tearing into them, the fear of dying alone ... it tears me apart. Hate is such an evil weapon. Why, Why do we do this? Why do we hate? I pray for them and the survivor's much more than I have for anyone or anything in my life.
Nice song congratulations you touched my heart 49 times,God bless you. Greets from Melilla,Spain 👏
Out of all the songs, this one hits home personally and emotionally, i wish you could be here Monday, the 12th, here in Orlando as we remember our fallen. Thank you for this beautiful song.
I have been looking at different tributes to Orlando and the innocent lives that were lost that night. I am still so shaken by what happened that night and this tribute is incredible. The emotion in your voice makes the song and this song is beautiful. I'm in tears typing this. I live in the UK and I don't know anybody who was brutally murdered and if anyone reading this knew anyone, lost anyone to that terrorist that night, my heart goes out to you because that is the most terrible thing. To the parents, friends and other family of the victims, this cannot keep happening and I am so so sorry that your loved one was taken from you in such a brutal way. It is months on and the world is no longer showing the tributes, but they are here, in our hearts, reaching out to our brothers and sisters who are mourning because it may be months on for us, but for you, without your loved one, it is years. Years without them. That's all I can say right now
Maddy Noinirc ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Brandon Parsons we will continue to be brave and stand strong for our brothers and sisters.
Woke today with this song on my heart and mind not even realizing the date of today. My ❤💔. We are forever strong. One life, one pulse. Love to all.
A woman I knew lost her fatherr in this attack. She was told by pir pastor not to grieve because he was a sinner that deserved death. That was the first time I took a look at my church and realized we were wrong. A person should never be told not to grieve for a relative.
That is tragic. I'm so sorry.
this is a powerful song i am straight but have many loved one that are not what you do iin the bedroom is your business no one has the right to hate
Tell that to CNN that has instigated HATE 24/7/365 for 4 long years..... Hopefully, a gunman will go pay them a visit to get rid of more Dem, Lib & Socialist scum.
To straight people, this affects them short term and are just sad for a day. Us people who are part of the lgbt community will get sad and even emotional. Rest in peice, you will never be forgotten and we are still strong to this day. To the attacker: You only made us stronger as a community, and we all bounce back up together.
Hunter McStuffer I am completely straight and this kind of thing pains me every day, this is not right. The LGBT+ community deserves the same rights as everyone else no matter right. And I fight for the community in anyway I can and protect them in any way I can so you are wrong not all straight people turn a blind eye to this kind of thing. Not trying to start an argument just trying to show that you do have people on your side.
Bailie Rohr we need more people like you, thank you for standing with us❤
Bailie Rohr thank you for standing with us. We need all the help we can get.
*Hugs you tightly.
Remember the "T" and the people in the "+" they can be straight but still in the LGBTQ+ community, we need to stand together even if that means standing in the shared sadness.
Patur O Yep
Beautiful song... so emotional! God why so much hate... we are all brothers and sisters... we should be for each other and not against! We need more love... God please save us...! 😔❤️
The scene with the texts and the very end push me way over the edge.
Beautiful Song ♥️🙏🏾 very touching
Thank you for your incredible heartfelt song Brandon Parsons. We stand united with our brothers and sisters. May we find the peace that will end this violence. Bless you.
Peace & Love for All Humanity
Now is not the time for tears, now is the time to show our strength because that is all the NRA understands, this insanity has GOT to stop and we MUST make Washington and the rest of the country understand that we have had ENOUGH!!! My partner and I are the ones that sued the state and brought Marriage Equality to Florida, we are glad to know that the partners of the wounded were able to get information and were kept up to date because of their legal relationships. Now we need to stop this wringing of hands and get to work changing the status quo
+Jim B Thank you soooo much the lgbt community deserves a better future
+Jim B Thank you soooo much the lgbt community deserves a better future
Our life won't be lasted till this earth say the last.
This is absolutely amazing. You've proven yourself a true artist with amazing talent. I look forward to hearing more from you.
Thank you so much!
How am I just running across this in Sept 2019???? And that pain is STILL raw!
You can check out the awesome videos of the gunman shooting those Dems, Libs & Socialists, and pictures of the dead bodies can be viewed on reddit.com

Brandon, I know there's been quite a few songs out dedicated to my city but I must tell you that YOUR song is by far the most beautiful one. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your support! #OrlandoStrong
Thank you so much. This meant so much to me❤️❤️
This song is the most beautiful song ever! Preyers for all the families who lost someone on the horrid night!
It's songs like this that make me so proud to be the first out and proud gay person in my town, and I'm so glad I was able to inspire people of my community. I know that, living in the bible belt as we do, members of my community are lucky we are alive in my area, but I've proven time and time again that I will protect my people, and anyone who respects us, because our love for each other is much stronger than the hate that those bigots throw at us. I've been bullied, I've self harmed, I've attempted suicide 7 times. My family doesn't accept me and i am still here. I'm stronger and I'll never lose this fight for equality.
🥰🥰🥰keep strong
currently watching this months later with chills and tears
49 angels flying over the sky.
Im crying for this people.
How could anyone thumbs down. This song is so beautiful!! 🌈🎤💙
I watch this song every year. Still gets me every time.
This is absolutely beautiful! I hope this becomes a single, your voice is the voice of an angel! Being from Florida, it hits close to home. Praying for Orlando. Just watched the Broadway for Orlando live in the studio yesterday in NYC. Love is love is love... more love less hate!
This is the second time I listened to your song.
I haven't been able to listen again til just now.
The emotion still rips me apart and my eyes drip with tears of pain.
I cant say anymore. So much for me being a tough guy.
Him performing this song in so bloody gut wretching.
This was pure beauty. I really loved it. Thank you so much!
Beautiful lyrics. Listen to this over and over again.
Thank you!!
@@BrandonParsons I got it on iTunes too. It just touches you. We appreciate you sharing your music with us, while remembering the 49 + survivors. ️🌈
It's been years since this horrible attack.....I came across this song on CZcams and was extremely moved by it. So much so I downloaded it onto my iPhone and now use it as part of the music I run with. Thank you sooo much.........!
It's still so hard to believe that this will be 4 years since that awful day that we had lost 49 beautiful souls in the name of hatred.
The memory is still fresh and we remember the names and faces in our hearts and minds.
We will never break or hide, we are still here, living for those that fell and those that must hide for their safety. I love all of you.. and remember.
Love is Love. Have Pride in who you are.
They were just Dems, Libs & Socialists, so it was no loss at all, but rather a good deed done..... and you speak of HATRED? Go tell that to the Dem/Lib owned CNN Fake News that uttered constant lies, gossip, rumors, personal opinions & hypocrisy to create as much hatred as they possibly could 24/7/365 for 4 long years..... I say this was an awesome execution of Dem/Lib/Socialist scum and I look forward to thousands more.
I can't stop crying. This song speaks so much truth. I pray the victims are at peace, and my heart goes out to their families.
Orlando Strong ♥
I'm confident the worthless victims are in hell
I'm going to sing this at my Winter Talent show. Wish me luck
I spent half my life in Orlando and moved away a year before this Great loss. I lost friends lost future ones but never doubted the resilience of the Orlando community!! God Bless!!
7 years later an still crying. our community may have been broken but it brought so many together..
I never heard such a deep warm beautiful incredible voice. I cryed the whole musicvideo.
Thank you for this! Much love from Chicago...
Today’s the day. 😞 it hit me hard the year after it happened, I’m not apart of the community but it saddens me to know that innocent lives were taken. Rest In Peace to those that are gone. Your memories will live on forever. 💔
Someone please explain to me how this song has not gone viral a million times over. It is beyond exceptional. I can't get it out if my head. Brandons voice is beautiful with amazing range, and the words hit you right in the heart. Amazing job!
Thank you so much!!!
I was wondering the same thing

Watched documentary last night and balled! this song is beautiful! 💞 I've always thought to myself, someone would make an attack on our gay community, these days. And my thoughts unfortunately came true. 🥺 Been streaming this on amazon. This song needs more attention. Next month will be 4 years...#49pulses 💗🕯🏳️🌈
For Orlando, for Nice, for everywhere Hate has risen its head. LOVE WILL WIN!
😭❤️ Amazing buddy. I get chills every time I hear this.
A precious wonderful gift to this world as well as multi talented. Never give up on your dreams!!
I haven't had the strength or courage to hear this until today. Pulse is under 2 miles from my house. I didn't know anyone injured or killed but one degree away and I find many friends have lost many. Our local LGBTQ community is suffering as is the world community. We will heal in time. We will have this song to remind us of 6/12. THANK YOU for this incredible tribute. I've been crying unexpectedly only once a day the past couple of days. Listening to this song has made this tears so meaningful.
My heart is with you. Always.
All Dems, Libs & Socialists with their Fake News deserve to suffer.... I look forward to massive gunman attacks all over America.
years later and listening to this song still makes me cry every time
4 years ago we lost there’s no denying that 4 years ago we lost 49 members of our community we must learn from this tragedy we can never let this happen again
Oh My God ! Love this song... and still today, we think of those whose lives were taken , their families , friends, those that were wounded and will carry scars in remembrance.... We weep with you, but we lift you up and pray for your continued strength and light.... Sometimes we wonder where God is with all the vast murders ... but we have to show who God is by never giving up... Love will win in the end. Those who bring Terror, Those who Teach and Preach Hate will lose. Stay Strong Orlando, Stay Strong America.... forget about the slogan make America Great Again because in some peoples eyes thy want to take you backk to those days of hate, division, bigotry and racial and religious discord... we need to move Forward an Upward to bring our Great nation where she was meant to be and strives to be ... a Land of the Free and home of the Brave...
Wow you sing beautifully not just the words, but your voice is amazing!!!!! keep it up you were meant to share your voice and such a great message too
I will never forget waking up that morning. To the sound of my phone buzzing with all the texts and messages asking if everyone is okay. Having no idea what's happened. Then I saw the news and couldn't actually believe. It felt like I was still dreaming.... I had planned all week to be there that night. And I was so upset when I was called to work last minute.... it was a place of freedom to express oneself and just dance. But that night I lost friends, people who I would take dance classes with, work with, or go out dancing with.... and this song... this is a beautiful song that touches the heart and brings tears everytime. I am an professional ballroom dancer here in Orlando, and I would love to be able to use this song to perform with my partner, so that we can express our artistry as a tribute to the beautiful souls we lost that day. Thanks for sharing this with the world.
Samuel Pereira daSilva yes! That would be amazing. I'm living in orlando now. Would love to sing as you guys danced.
THIS IS A VERY EMOTIONAL SONG ! WE ARE FOREVER STRONG L.A SUPPORTS YOU ALL !

It's 2019 but even though I wasn't there, this news shocked us all around the globe.
Here in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I say still to this day. We stand with Orlando.
We’ll always be forever #orlandostrong
Brandon - I can't even begin to express what I am feeling right now. To stumble upon this amazing tribute so unexpectedly is such a blessing. I think that what makes it more so, and something that I have not seen in many of the tribute videos, is the look in your eyes while you are singing. It is very apparent that this tragedy struck something very deep in you. Thank you so much for sharing this with everyone, for sharing the gift of your love.
Brandon...I watched the documentary and just had to download this song. It's beyond beautiful

Orlando Strong! Forever.
Thank you for this song. I teach high school near Orlando, and this summer shattered me. I begin to teach classes this week, and I still cry about Pulse. I need to help my kids know we can find hope even in these sad times. This song is beautiful and reminds me of this.
