The right size marble was hard to find. I ended up buying a few different sizes and even then random marbles within one size fit the top of the capsule against the chip. For bottom of the capsule I used a large caliber hot glue stick cut to size. Oddly enough the poi have better light distribution now.
Say by chance since you might have it do you thing you could fit a pod poi casing in the orbs? I'm just trynna see cuz I'm ordering contacts again but want pods in em for better lighting
I tried charging my orb poi for the first time yesterday evening. When i plugged them in the knobs turned red indicating that they were charging. Took my eyes off them for the night, woke up both knobs were off. Thought that definitely meant they were charged, however, when i came to switch them on, only one switched on fine.. the other switched, flashed white a couple of times and then off. I noticed it did that when the battery was dead but not sure what's happening. If i plug it back in to charge, the knob turns red for around a minute before switching off again. Same story, won't switch on. Thoughts?
Hmm that is weird. I haven't had that issue. Have you tried turning the knob on while it's charging for that first minute? Maybe try that and try do do a reset which I think is holding the button for something like 7 seconds
@@ThePoiMechanic after fiddling around with it (including twisting the knob), and pressing the button a number of times in what felt like a sequence, it's back to life :)
if you pull knob chip shell out there will be a USB port on the side. If you pull the chip shell out on the Orb there will be a USB port on the side in the middle of the case, if you have the Orb Pro then the USB port will be on the side but close to the button. no need to take the chips out of their shells to charge
@@StarStreamFlowArtist So you have the rope cut flush and have tape on it and it wont push thru the orb? I would use electric tap because it stretches which means it gets much tighter on the rope and constricts it. Also wipe the tape with chapstick or something to lube it up but make sure it's very very minimal so you don't get it on you rope
Thanks man! I wanted to see if I can remove the rope without messing with the integrity so I can Juggle them as LED balls 👌🏼
Yesss thank you :D
Hello, how we do for changing, I not arrived to take a out the baterri...for charging is stuk
How do i factory reset them tho? Theyre stuck in a setting i dont like

Awesome. I could imagine the marble would help spread the light for sure

Yeah I've tried and it's way to tight to get a pod shell in there. I am pretty sure they made it that way on purpose too
does anyone know how to make them stay on a solid color that isn’t one of the 7 basic color modes. I want different hues then the basics.
You can only choose solid basic colors with this chip unfortunately

I am thoroughly confused as to how to charge these. I have the poi and the chargers but not sure how to connect it. Please and thank you for any info.

What are the chances that a flowtoys capsule could be shoved into that orb head?
You can shove them in but fuck they are hard to pull out. The short shells stick out the top about 1/4 inch or more. Wish they worked
@@420ColoradoDang that would have been sweet durable mod pod. Thanks for trying though!
So can I adjust the length?
You can but you will have to remelt your ends. I have a video on how to do this on this channel
@@ThePoiMechanic I watched and I can't get the hole back into the orb even with ductape it physically doesn't fit.
