One simple way to boost everyone;s economy and benefit poorer people is to get out of this green energy madness which is the biggest transfer of wealth form poor (in "green" taxes) to the filthy rich, in subsidies for their companies which offer us very expensive electricity created in a very expensive and inefficient manner. Solar cells work only when it's sunny and not when we most need them, wind turbines which don;t work when its too windy or not windy enough, and both are less environmentally friendly that fossil fuels if you take away the subsidies and deliberately fudged data proving they are environmentally friendly.

I don’t have a problem with green initiatives… I have a problem with it when it’s being pushed at such an insanely fast pace that it’s going to literally crash the grid that can’t handle the load as it is.
If I wanted to get in shape I would work out before or after work when I have time and eat better. I wouldn’t quit my job, abandons my family and spend thousands of dollars on nutritionists and gym trainers.
And produce more via Nuclear instead of low efficient alternatives
In truth, neither is "Green" or "Sustainable".
What they don't tell you, is that Wind Farms exist only because of subsidies (that they claim they don't get), because they operate at near "Net Zero". Meaning, they will never, in their useful lifetime, create as much energy as it takes to make, erect, and maintain them.
The same is true for Solar, I keep seeing people bragging about how they're "Off the Grid" and in just (four, five, six, etc., years, it varies) they will break even, then the electricity is free and clear.
The reality is: by the time they get to the "Break Even" point, those panels will be either at approximately half their initial output, or need to be replaced.
They are lead to believe that the panels are "Guaranteed" for a certain amount of time, but I have a feeling they didn't read all the fine print.
If they want to believe it, well, more power to them (sorry, couldn't resist), but just like the wind farms, they will spend just as much for that "Free" power as they would if they just stayed on the grid.
Sad but true.

The way unemployment is calculated is deceiving. There are soooo many more people unemployed than I’ve ever come across. Unemployment is way higher than our “calculated” rate.

LOL, you are spot on. Was doing some consulting work for a company a couple of years back. CIO was complaining that they couldn't find any "qualified applicants" for the IT department. I laughed and said, "There are plenty of qualified applicants, you just aren't seeing any of the resumes." To prove my point I submitted my resume in response to four of his open positions that I was highly qualified for. All four applications were screened out by the bot screener HR had put in place. It seems the bot determined that white, male, veteran = not a good fit regardless of qualification. Other candidates were being filtered because the IT department had too many people from India so it was penalizing their applications. It had also removed Asians from minority status and was penalizing their apps as if they were white. CIO sent one of his subordinates down to find out just how high an automated reject rate was happening. Short version, he took application screening out of HR's hands and "suddenly" had a much easier time filling his positions. Most corporate execs know that HR has an automated initial screening software but they have no idea how screwed up the criteria/settings on the screening are and how many qualified candidates never reach their department for consideration. That's why I call BS on the whole "labor shortage" nonsense. Yes, low paid jobs are tough to fill right now, but those jobs are going to mostly be replaced by automation in the next few years anyway. If we DO hit a recession and a lot of the "influencer" money dries up and/or instagram/only fans money becomes thinner you'll see people moving back into some of those low end jobs as well.

That young man had problems.....no father around, a drug addict for a mother. He spoke with a lisp and was mocked and bullied the whole time growing up.
