LINEGEAR Japan make custom replacement lenses, rubber parts and other parts for Oakley X-Metal series.
In realizing the difficult situation to look for parts to exchange of for my X-Metal, since Oakley discontinued support service in 2012, We decide to make custom parts for the series, and to be able to use the X-METAL frame again, and we hope it works for all of you in future. The products which we sell, had been developed by LINEGEAR originally and is not part of Oakley company.

Love seeing a great company take over servicing & repairs when the original company stops supporting their own products!
Sent a pair of my X-metals to Line-Gear a little while back & they did an incredible job, my glasses look & feel new again!!!❤️❤️

I just received a pair of these from my friend she found them in her closet in a case with several other cheapie gas station sunglasses mixed in with them I seen them lying underneath all the other cheapies and almost instantly could tell they had to be a pretty special model just mainly due to the hi tech construction/design on what I could tell were a fairly old model (I was like 8 years old or something when these hit the streets and 6 or so when the x metal series officially launched so needless to say the sorta slipped right passed my radar. However, I'm 31 now and apparently my time with the Juliet's is here at last...)
...now just onto the restoration. Seems pretty straight forward and fairly affordable. I will almost certainly go the linegear route, even if OEM we're easily obtainable I would still prefer to save $$ and linegear seems to have bigger selection (🤷???).
...so with all that, my only real question/concern is, what else could someone who is not a die.hard Oakley-head use to substitute the pin pusher/press that you have?? 🙏 Thank you

These glasses were so awesome! Look how complicated they were! So much touch labor was involved to make each of those parts, and then finally to assembled them. Hard to believe these started off as $175 glasses and ended up somewhere around $325-$350.

The ear socks do not go on easy like the video.I can't even get them on mine even with heating them.

      Hello,
The ear socks are designed to fit the frame tightly, which can make installation difficult for some users.
We recommend dipping the ear socks in hot water to soften the material.
