How I interpreted it, is how she is a new artist on the label, is the same way to any given artist, a label can be considered new in the same rite (if they are/were searching for a new label). Labels should be aware that the relationship is a reciprocal. Yes, it comes down to a contract. I totally agree with that as well.

Only one criticism. It really baffles me how people make it so hard to understand the concept of an EP (Extended Play). It's like most people can't understand that all collections of music aren't an album, there are EPs and mixtapes, some artist call something in-between those or are those "projects." It confuses the public and potentially hurts the artist's elevation when people think they're putting out their album, than the EP or mixtape that it is.
