VISITING SKIATHOS AIRPORT, KOUKOUNARIES BEACH AND SKIATHOS TOWN | DAY 7&8 | SEPT 2021

- This vlog is our final in #Skiathos #Greece. We spent our last day in Skiathos down on the beach at #Koukounaries beach as the weather decided to brighten up to the typical greek weather for September. After a good beach day we ended up back down at Skiathos airport #Skiathosairport to wacth some more planes take off and land into the island for the last time before we have to leave. We ended up eating at a lovely Italian/Greek restaurant in skiathos town called primavera and the food was to die for here! must visit when coming to this island. The next day we decided to ditch our hotel breakfast for some breakfast in the town and soaking up the sun before getting back into good old britain! WE love this island at it will always hold a special place in our heart and we will be back in the future.

You should defo try get to Skiathos is such a beautiful little island. We really want to visit more Greek islands and Corfu is one of them so will defo have to visit sometime :)

Tips wise 🤨 - a day trip to Skopelos is a must if you don’t hire a car you can do a mamma Mia tour takes you to Agios Eleni and to some cracking beaches too 👌🏼 you just have to listen to Abba all day but it’s not that bad.
Also do the open air cinema is a must and maybe a visit to Koukanaries beach & Mandraki as they are nice 👌🏼.

at the edge of the roads, the "brown" grass looks to me like grass "burned" by round-up. Very common in greece, lazy tourist-hunters dont bother to landscape and remove weeds by liberal straying with pesticides. Good luck in your vacations :) :) :)

Was quite surprised at just how much covid related paperwork there is involved, all sorted just be glad when we have our negative PCR tests back.
Totally relate to how excited you were when you got your negative tests for Maldives last December. ☺️

Thanks I hope we can go too we’ll need two lots of PCR too so not sure if that will go ahead 😵💫. Ohhhh we’ve been St Lucia we stayed at the Royalton when we went and hiked the piton! 😰 I wouldn’t recommend that it will kill your like it did us. You’ll love ❤️ it hope you have a fantastic time just be warned you’ll see a lot of stray dogs it’s the norm over there so don’t be alarmed, if you get a chance we recommend going to the Gros Islet street party they have on a Friday night if your staying up that way but go with people from the hotel though it’s great 😎Enjoy ✈️

Mandraki beach is my favourite. I got lost the first time I went when walking back to the bus stop in sweltering heat through the forest bit
Mandraki is also our favourite so was sad when the weather wasn’t too good, we wish we could have enjoyed it but will need to go back to be able to go back to to Mandraki ☺️ yes the same happened to us the first time we went and it was very very hot but lovely walking through the forest.
Also the ice cream shop is on the opposite side of the road where the boats dock in the town :)
Hey guys 👋 The sun beds are so cheap here after travelling Europe this summer 😯 I saw that mans bollocks and his python DYING HAHAH 😂 The weather got better YAY! Looks amazing 😻 That plane comes in so close holy moly!! And I definitely want to try the Ellie Ice cream 🍦 All the cats are just the best aren’t they 🥰 Thanks for the Greek series guys - can’t wait to watch the Belgium and Maldives ones ☺️
We’ll the beds are cheap here in Greece when we went Ibiza that was a quick getaway as Antigua got cancelled 😭 was expensive for beds and getting around in general. We saw a lot of pythons and rats 🤣 to scar our minds for a long time 🤦🏼♂️. Ellie loved that Ice cream I don’t remember her letting me try it 🥺. Your very welcome guys we love doing our videos but we just have to wait until we go away on holiday 🤞🏼 our emirates flights only got ticketed yesterday and we paid that of in August 😱 so we’re happy just the old PCR test now 😵💫 they always fill us with dread. Also next year we’re doing Singapore and Bali in July then Thailand in December and somewhere in Sept not sure yet though 🤨 thank you 🙏🏼 both hope all is going good in Mexico 🙂

Hahaha nooo I'm not a big fan of either of those animals! I would have been so scared. Niiice you have some travel plans in the works though!! We'll be waiting patiently till you return ☺️
where would you recommend staying in skiathos? looking to go with my girlfriend
As close to Skiathos town is best in our opinion but it’s not a big island and only one main road in the island so it’s really easy to get around :) Skiathos is a beautiful island 😍
