This movie to me is a metaphor for human existence. Louis is the man who suffers under the weight of existence, and why there is so much suffering in life. Lestat is the beast that embraces the savagery that we all possess and lives in the moment, and Claudia is the forever trapped child that cannot help herself and continues to want more and more. Armand is the ever so wise longest living elder, but still does not have the answer as to why we exist or what the purpose for anything is. This story is about “us”

Even though I love and prefer the new AMC show Interview With The Vampire(it's so amazing highly recommend) over the 1994 movie. But as for this soundtrack it's always been beautiful and exquisite music.

I basically grew up watching that film...
Something about the immortality, the period's aesthetics and the forever young in eternal darkness was so appealing .
Coupled by the wonderful music of course.
