Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic.gov.au/things-t...
PS: Slower process...lower temps...no quartz fractures due to thermal shock. My .02. Nice fricken gold brother.
Thanks for the work you do bro
Your hard work and karma will bring you more gold
Mental health is a big issue
And your enthusiasm is a big help to us out there
💪
Specimen gold brings a much higher price, so if my guess is correct you have earned more than a minimum wage for you hours (not sure of minimum in your country) so that is not bad for a hobby. Never getting rich off of that but could be worse. Also depends upon how you sell the rest of the gold. Pay dirt and selling local is much better than refiners. Well done Chris. And your videos document the history as well. Nice.
It's like a dagger to the heart each time you crush up an amazing specimen (even if you don't think they are). A fingernail size piece of quartz with one tiny piece of gold on top of it would be a killer specimen to own, and just showcase in a little gem clear plastic round! I'm guessing too much work to put some of those together to sell on you store page. As always, love these videos!
I just love the jagged specimens.
Congratulations Chris, your research, enthusiasm and dedication to traipsing through some fairly rugged and challenging terrain to get to your Eldorado is inspiring. Well done and keep up the great work mate. 👍🏻
Try hydrogen peroxide with some court or with some ashes u
Hydroperoxide microwave in ashes
Amazing gold man love the wires pieces and this specimen bits lovely well done
Some days ago, I whished that Chris should show us another hardrock crushing video including a gold reveal using caustic soda and here we go. Thanks for all the work, well done and a fantastic result. There is probably a chemical trick to avoid the white staining of the sulfide after the caustic soda cleaning. I probably would just use my sandblaster :) Hope you go back to the side and find some more promising pieces and nuggets. Fingers crossed. All the best.
Thank you for sharing your adventures Chris. Cheers
Nice one brother 🤙
Awesome Chris! I love the look of gold processed that way!

Your new adventure into reef mining is wonderful. I wish you good hunting and always remember to enjoy the journey.
"Keep Ithaka always in your mind.
Arriving there is what you are destined for.
But do not hurry the journey at all.
Better if it lasts for years,
so you are old by the time you reach the island,
wealthy with all you have gained on the way,
not expecting Ithaka to make you rich." -- from the journey to Ithaka by C.P. Cavafy.
love your vids mate i always learn something new :)
Not a bad haul at all ! Thanks for the info on this one 👍
I’ve been WAITING for this video!!
I watch ur channel daily! Thank you for making such enjoyable content! You really make me wanna get an old moldy hat and go prospecting. Unfortunately I live where I would have to really travel to get any form of gold. Thank for sharing your knowledge and keep em coming!
Well done Chris... You deserve it 👍🤓✌️
Nice work dude!
Its amazing how the formation of crystaline gold is so delicate and feathery. The hot caustic treatment pieces came up really well. Im coming over your way in a couple weeks see if I can find some of your prized Vic specimens. Great vid Chris
Another awesomw vid Chris

That was awesome 👍✨👍
Coral is the exact terminology to be used. Ive watched a lot of your videos and this one is the best by far. ❤
I've bought an sdc2300 from miners den bendigo this week. Pics up soon.
Fantastic outcome Chris from all of the hard yards you have put into this hard rock mining source. Some of those pieces have come out so beautiful like you mentioned look like coral from the ocean. I would so love to see you find a nice big chunk of Crystaline gold but am not sure any has been found here in Oz ?.
Those specimens are gorgeous
I'm so excited for you , this is just the beginning and you need to get a claim on that spot .😂
Nice one dude
G'day Chris, well done mate best wishes to you and still have fun with what you do best, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
This is so cool I have a couple spots I would like to try and see if it has gold I live on the east coast in the USA in North Carolina where the first gold rush happened and I’m only a few miles away from that spot. Love your videos 👍💪
Get that specific gravity test going my friend then you’ll know for sure how much you have those came out absolutely AUSOME at this rate your going to need a bigger stainless steel container some of those that came out of the crush would have been just as outstanding they were nice sized. Great video and gold take definitely worth the time and effort to see what nature has created. No matter what size the gold each piece is like a snowflake no two are ever exactly the same that’s what intrigues me most about gold I could stare at those pieces for days with a loop examining every single crystal, crook and cranny 😍 thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
See what happens when you follow your heart, good job and you seem very happy with yourself. You should be!😊
Very interesting, good to see the you are using an effective respirator when crushing quarts, if you treat it like asbestos you will live a long time.
15:06 that’s the best one I reckon
Iron is the mother of all minerals heavier than iron . Minerals heavier than iron are formed only thru a massive violent process - when the core of a star goes supanova and explodes , the amount of energy released is the catalyst reaction of fusion and fission which creates all elements heavier than iron . When planets form over billion years or so all elements heavier than iron become gravitationally bound together . The process after etc the liquid conductive medium final hosts either bedrock or quartz then becomes the holder of the minerals and become released over the eons to become visible and elluvial deposits and then finally alluvial into waterways or where it's been dropped off if eons of erosion. Great video mate , very well done with all you finds and best of continued success for the future.
I watched the commercials just for you bro! 😁
You can get ad blockers for free, just say'n.
That's a bloody good day out
I need to get up in the mountains and find some of this type of good stuff....
Wild now you have my hot plate, it's the same one I bought here in Colorado United States. Oh Robert Murray Smith had a video where he had my teakettle giggle giggle
one things for sure ,yout content is fantastic, BUT the variety of socks you run around in is very entertaining. love your style Chris its constantly changing. besides i run around my house in socks . never bought house shoes my life. Maybe thats a new merch 🤔
Nice return on the experiment. Both in gold but also in experience. Well worth the time.
Saw you in my news feed!! So a m***e s****r!!! I look forward to the episode ;)
130 in the morning and this is the perfect, relaxing video before bed
I forget he has international fans and was like, bro it's like 5.30 in the evening 😅
Heating gold species in costic soda on a heat pad is good but i like to use ali bright with an altra sonic cleaner which works great for cleaning nugs and even breaking down and cleanin species to create nice shiw pieces but making sure the carier device doesnt have a coating as the gold like in using certain material like a retort can obsorb the gold so using a small plastic versel works well unless you want to burn off the the protective coating on certain usable vessels.

Gold rides into town on the iron horse ! As the saying goes
So cool
I know you've said it's ridiculously hard to get claims there. But with gold that good I don't know how that spot couldn't be worth it.
Brother you got some mighty fine gold there. I suppose the species are worth more than the actual weight of the gold because they are still in quartz. A very nice show piece.
Imagine with me: a combination jaw crusher/ore cart that you crush ore and drive yourself out of the mines with one simple motion! 😂
Love your safety mask but your safety soaks are out of this world.😂😂
Those rigid cordless tools can pull their weight on projects... not suprised your angle grinder is still kicking. But on to a much better topic... where did you get that hand crusher!?!?!? that thing is genius!
put some insulating foam around stampys pot to reduse noise, greatings from belgium
It has rubber around it already
Sometimes I watch your videos just for a pick me up; you’re a FUN GUY, like shrooms, you know?😊
Go to your local hardware store or someplace that has plumbing supplies and look fore Muriatic acid pour about 3 gallons to 1 gallon of water into a 5 gallon bucket and put ur quartz rocks inside the liquid and wait for 24 hours be sure to wear your PPG personal protective gear and u will have a lot of visible gold
